Evington Road Post Office

I would give this post office a zero if that option was available.They are so rude and unfriendly. The cashier never smiles and is cold and arrogant. The atmosphere is unhealthy

Disgusting customer service! Arrived at Saturday at 1.03 with parcels not knowing the post office closes at 2. She slammed the door in my face, shocked I asked if they were closed or just closed for lunch. Talking through the door she screamed at me to read the sign on the door and that they close at 1. I said she didn’t need to be rude and also didn’t need to talk through the door. She continued to scream as I walked away and then proceeded to open the door (as I got to the car) and scream ‘WE CLOSE AT 1 READ THE DOOR’ like a banshee. She was awful. I assume she’s the owner or owners wife but disgusting behaviour and doesn’t deserve custom. If I could give it a zero star rating I would.

The lady staff was very helpful. She guided me very well with the passport application process. Thank you

Don't even bother going to this post office. The staff member's got disgusting attitude. Doesn't even have decency to speak to customers with dignity. Absolutely of no help. Save yourself the grief and disappointment and visit another post office. Last thing you want is your parcel to go missing". Also a cash only business! Scamming frauds."

This post office is my local and I’m a frequent user. I’ve ignored and let slide the many times one of the women working in it and her rude, abrasive, unfriendly, arrogant attitude, because the others there are nicer.Whilst I don’t need the sugar coated “hi how are you” or fake chit chat, as long as service is efficient, this woman really is the word “misery” personified! She seems to hate dealing with customers so much.Last week I walked into the post office, I barely was two steps in, it’s a big shop, I hadn’t even seen her yet and she hadn’t seen me but because she heard the door open, she yelled aggressively“yes next please come to the counter”… for all she knew, I may have wanted to look around but because she was clearly in some kind of rush, she felt the need to yell at me.For once I did not hide my annoyance at her, because she deserves to be challenged for her inappropriate attitude! I said “can you let me walk in and approach you without yelling before you can even see me, what’s the rush?”.. she said “I’m not in a rush, I’ve got 15 mins yet before my finish” … her words said one thing, but her actions clearly proved the opposite!!She then had the audacity to tell me to calm down, saying I was in a rush! It’s one thing to be a harsh, abrasive, unapproachable assistant and quite another to think you can gaslight customers. You look down at people who contribute to your livelihood and are rude and keep getting it away with it. Not to undermine your job, but you need to get over yourself. Some of the people you serve actually earn their living by being gentle, kind, caring, saving lives and do it with a smile on their face. You’re not above anyone, you’re not even good at your job!I sent a first class parcel on 9th Dec and it’s still not reached and cannot be traced. So you’ve either done something unprofessional out of spite and malice, because I challenged your stinking attitude. This wouldn’t surprise me tbh!Or something has gone wrong unintentionally- proof you’re not perfect and open to error.Either way check yourself and change your nasty attitude or your job.

It's quite disheartening to witness the discourteous behavior of the female employee at the post office. How the post office could employ someone who seems to treat her role as though she's doing customers a favor by simply being present? She's just refusing to what she is paid for... what a shame!

Disgusting customer service! The owner needs sacking off! Horrible person with a horrible attitude! They will try to swindle and overcharge any unsuspecting or elderly customers and they treat the elderly like dirt especially if English is not their first language! Royal Mail need to dispose of and sack the current workers at this post office and remove the current owner from ownership.

Absolutely disgusting how the one woman there serving customers as her job and getting paid for it, is sooo rude. I cannot comprehend how the post office can hire people like her acting as if she is doing me a favour by being there. The man there was always friendly. Well she must've been demoted to be off the actual post office section. It's unbelievable the level of customer service in that one post office. I'm more than certain this isn't across all

I cannot believe how rude both the gentleman" and lady are. Absolutely beyond awful. The lady thinks she's the Queen of the manner with such horrendous arrogance. Sure take a phone call whilst serving customers then call over your servant husband to eventually take over.And the man is just a barking dog who will do anything to get rid of you. Stop selling things cash only too and having a mood if we ask to pay with card.Possibly the consistently worst customer service I've ever experienced.Not to mention the bully tactics they use to upsell services or else your parcel seems to go missing. They really do force people into a corner and the most vulnerable are taken advantage of.Someone at head office needs to review these owners as nobody has a good word to say about them.They behave like they're doing us a favour by serving us. I'd rather drive to Evington village than deal with these guys again.Should be ashamed of themselves. 0 stars is generous."

I would like to say I went to the post office today and it has definitely been a much better experience to the last few times I've been. I used to go to one further away and can be tedious just to get post 1 item. I believe its under new management and the elderly man who helped me find gifting items for teachers was so helpful, polite and definitely would recommend for everyone who's given 1 stars to go now. Thank you for the help 5*s!
