I called the telephone number provided by search engine. Got through to Brighton probate office, so I knew I had correct number, but could not speak to anyone, as I did not have the extension number, so my call was cut off as there is no ability to leave a message.I just wanted some initial help and guidance to a way forward to getting probate.I have to say I was disappointed with my call being terminated.

This place is an absolute joke, been waiting nearly a year, probate certificates came back then solicitor found mistakes and had to send back and was told it will go back into circulation with no fast track option. These people think messing with people's lives is acceptable. Because there is a solicitor involved they won't talk to family. Totally incompitent and need sacking.

Too understaffed to take phone calls. When the phone finally did manage to bypass the automatic message and ring through I heard someone pick up and cancel the call. What an absolute joke of an organisation, leaving people in limbo with no idea how many weeks or months it will take to progress their probate application. Bunch of jokers.

Speak as I find. Appalling service, held in a queue with music, waiting and waiting 45 mins comes and goes no one answered. The on line info is archaic, much of what is required could be simplified into digital forms. To think that staff get final salary pensions for providing this really poor service. No wonder the country's in such a mess.

Dreadful service. Slow, incompetent... These are people's lives you're messing with! Also staff are very rude and dismissive when you contact the office for an update.

Try finding update on my late grandmother wanted to know how it going but would not tell me as I got to go through the solicitor I spoke to someone on the phone the other day and they was so helpful but this lady today wouldn't give me no information at all and she laugh

Be careful when having your bag searched by security here!! My mum had money stolen from her purse today by the security guard when he searched her bag behind a panel. We are filing a complaint.

I have a family who put in for probate in Oct last year, the registry have lost all the paperwork once and now refuse to fast track an already stressful situation. Still waiting for them to sort their mess out. Complete incompetence
