I was excited about trying the coffee. The staff were nice. I didn’t like that when paying with card you have to choose whether to give tip or not before you pay. The coffee, as in any airport, is over-priced and I think it should be left to the customer whether to tip or not. It’s weird because the staff see whether or not you tipped while making the coffee. The coffee flavour was good, but it unsettled quite a bit my stomach, which isn’t great for a day of traveling… Think will keep going to the traditional option at the airport.

A lovely bright inviting coffee shop however when we arrived at 11.30 there were no bacon sandwiches, sold out!!!! No pastries sold out!!! There were croissant but without butter and jam, so disappointing. This coffee shop could be just what Newcastle airport needs but not in the way it is working at the moment

Coffee is great!£2.79 for water is a bit much even for the airport but I would nonetheless visit again

Very disappointed. Chose S&G as wanted a hot light meal, rather than the Boots meal deals cold sarnies sitting on the communal benches. Instead got a naff heated roll, on a paper bag as doesn't provide plates or cutlery, and had to tear and share - at ieast Boots sarnies are precut! Definitely not worth paying twice the price for the airy cafe feel! They should advise before enticing that just paying for the lighting.

Nice to see a new place in NCL which has been badly served for food outlets in the past. Bright open new area and good food options but prices are high. Coffee is fair but served in tiny paper cups - allegedly recyclable l.

Sloth like coffee making. Three point machine but no let's make them one at a time. The queue at 5am yes 5am was massive. Oh and watch out as it will be radioactive.

My partner's breakfast bagel with 3 postage stamp sized pieces of bacon was appalling, but the goat's cheese toasties I tried was OK. We took this back and got a sullen and begrudged exchange from one of the girls on the counter, but the young man serving that day was very apologetic.Choose your sandwich carefully, at £20+ for 2 average sandwiches and 2 coffees, it's not good value.

They seem to forget everyone who ordered food. When we eventually got our Luke warm bagel it was miserable and cost 7 pounds! A few bits of rocket and not even half a slice of bacon. Rip off and bad food.

Wouldn't recommend due to the fact breakfast sandwiches are over a fiver and ours came with barely anything on. No egg as advertised and some shreds of bacon. No sauce on there. It was just like eating bread. Would expect better quality from something that price. Plus they straight up lie about what's in their bagels because there's no egg in them. :/Furthermore, the service isn't amazing. The cashier seemed more interested in talking to her colleague than serving us.I asked for a water and it was warm and had floaters in. Coffee sizes are tiny and aren't that good as people are saying on here.

Unfortunately the sweet potato salad was already sour although I had some immediately after purchase.
