Crabtree Barn holiday let

Crabtree Barn is our go to place when visiting friends in the area. Set within stunning countryside, the accommodation is spotless, spacious and very well equipped. The owners are super helpful and friendly. If you are planning to visit… Enjoy! You won’t be disappointed.

What an excellent find. Barn was absolutely amazing. Presented immaculately. The views and garden were stunning. Beds were really comfortable Great location for exploring Calderdale. Barn is down a single-track road (tarmacked) and is tight in places. Car charger worked well. Definitely stay again

We had three great days at Crabtree Barn. Fantastic barn conversion, beautiful countryside, excellent weather, endless places to walk and great hosts - it could not have been better!

Crabtree Barn has been furnished to a very high standard, all fixtures and fittings are tasteful and a very high standard, making the stay very restful and comfortable - everything works! (very well). It’s a delightful location, lovely views across the valley, and the log burner works brilliantly for colder evenings. The roads to the barn are narrow so bear that in mind.The hosts were very helpful indeed and not at all intrusive, despite living nextdoor. Overall, Crabtree barn is a very relaxing, spacious, comfortable and delightful place to unwind. Highly recommended!

We had the most fabulous experience at Crabtree Barn. It's a beautifully well kept accommodation, spotlessly clean, gorgeously decorated and furnished to a really high standard. Wayne and Rachel were fantastic hosts, really friendly and helpful, we felt we were there if we needed them but they weren't watching over us 'making sure we were behaving'. They've thought of every last thing that would make the stay more pleasant. Fully stocked chest of toys for the kids, adult games, DVDs for adults and children, informative guide of the area, binoculars to explore the beautiful view from the windows, plenty of toiletries and towels, alarm clocks on each bedside table, fully stocked crockery cupboards. When our Tesco delivery left out the nappy bags we ordered, we were overwhelmed to find even those in the cupboard. We would recommend Crabtree Barn to anyone looking to spend a holiday in a home away from home In friendly surroundings...

Beautiful spot! The barn itself has everything you need and is finished to a very high standard. But what really steals the show are the views, which you can enjoy from the living room, the bedroom or the little summer house in the garden. The hosts are wonderful, and provided great tips on local sightseeing, pubs, and walks. Definitely recommend spending your holiday here!

We have just returned home from a week at this lovely Barn. Wayne and Rachel go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need for your holiday, even Milk in the fridge and wine. It is very child friendly, you will find toys and books in the Barn to keep your kids entertained.It is in a beautiful location with fabulous walks on your doorstep.We will definitely return. We highly recommend Crabtree Barn.

We have just had a magical week here at crabtree barn, from the very start we where met by Wayne who is delightful and very accommodating! The barn is just lovely and very high spec inside, the first bedroom on the ground floor is really a lovely size with the most comfortable beds imaginable... Lovely sized on suite ! The second bedroom is a nice size also with a picture postcard window view ! When you go upstairs to the living area it's massive lovely high ceilings making you feel healthy with the most amazing views , the woodburner is very good indeed we didn't need it the last few nights at the weather was just great ! This place has everything you need to be very comfortable, the table tennis room is a fantastic place it also houses a washing machine and dryer ... The garden area is lovely along with a summer house ! We will be back thanks Rachel and waynne you truly have a lovely place

Lovely hosts, beautiful accommodation, fabulous views, giant beds, peace and quiet - and a table tennis table. What more could we want? We couldn't recommend Crabtree Barn more highly.( Next time though we'll not bring the sherry - Wayne is unstoppable at the ping pong after a couple of Croft Originals.)

We had a wonderfully relaxing break at Crabtree Barn. It was everything we'd hoped - interesting location, well equipped, with beautiful views and a choice of comfortable places to look at them from! The living/dining/kitchen space is huge, open and light. Two big sofas to lounge on- there is a tv, but we didn't use it. The log burner is very effective, but we only used it one evening, as the room felt warm enough with just the timed central heating. The views down the valley are a real pleasure. There is a lovely window seat in the second bedroom with the same great views and the summer house is delightful.Hosts Wayne and Rachel were on hand to answer questions and offer suggestions about places to visit, as they live next door, but were completely unintrusive. To be honest, I really didn't want to go anywhere else - being at the Barn was such a treat. Wayne suggested a short circular walk from the Barn door which was lovely, and I was content enough with that.Fabulous place with great hosts.
