Carried out window replacement works on our listed cottage in St Agnes. From 1st meeting through to completion the whole team were excellent and the quality of the joinery is 1st class. Would definitely use them for any future joinery work

If I could give zero stars for customer service I would! Horrendous experience, poor design of hardwood gates, constantly failing, wood splitting. Calls to fix ignored, emails to remind them to fix ignored, Labour always too busy on other jobs....... Just horrendously unhelpful and wish I had never heard of them!..... Later addition and in response to their reply: you should have checked further back in your records. The gate split in the summer and I requested you to fix, a request you ignored. The drop bolt needed adjustment to secure the gate in the open position, a request to adjust in the summer was ignored, hence why the gate hinges were recently wind damaged and which we have now properly fixed without your input. Also, the gate was indeed modified to correct for the driveway as you state when originally manufactured, but the modification was designed and installed by yourselves and has failed on numerous occasions. The redesign and install was also paid for, so not a free service. The only foc work that has been undertaken is associated with poor design and numerous failures (splitting) of the gate.

Just had Restormel Joinery supply and fit two church style pews for the Cellar Bar at Mevagissey.Excellent workmanship and very skilled fitters, working with walls and floors which were very uneven to say the least.All done with yours truly hovering over them just to add to the mix.Landlady, staff and customers are very well pleased with the outcome, the benches/pews look as if been in place for years, well done Felix and his lads.

I asked Restormel Joinery Ltd to replace my kitchen doors and drawer fronts. The work was carried out within timescale and at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with the fabrication of the doors and with their expert fitting. It has worked out really well. Thank you Restormel. Full marks.

Restormel joinery have completed a number of tasks for us, we have found them exceptionally hard working and the quality of their joinery is superb. They have completed wooden French doors, re made two porches to as new standard, and panelled a loft bedroom which is amazing, I have just recently requested that they supply new gates for my drive, they did suggest that I could buy them cheaper on the Internet, but I would prefer to wait and receive quality which I know Is assured.

Thank you to the Restormel team who have done a fantastic job supplying all the windows and doors as part of our total house refurbishment. We live on the coast and needed modern insulation and weather resilience but didn't want to buy uPVC. Restormel were recommended to us and we got a quick response and rapid measure up and quote and bought 13 traditional sashes with modern glass in a lovely hardwood. We agreed a schedule to make and fit, and the windows came delivered ready painted in our own choice of colour (two different ones!) in marine paint so should outlast us. The quality and fit was great and we received prompt and courteous responses to our queries. We also had over 7m of bi-fold doors custom made by Restormel which look fantastic and have transformed our view and the house. We visited the workshop, chose all the detailing and spent ages with the proprietor guiding us through choices and helping us narrow it all down. For us it was a big job and we are very grateful for the service we received and now the fantastic windows, doors and views we have. And the price was good too (we had other quotes). Thoroughly recommended.

We ordered a door in may/June 2015 and it was finally fitted mid April 2016, after months of emails and reminders. At one point, after requesting an picture it was mysteriously emailed from an email name of another local carpentry company meaning the work could have been subcontracted. The door was poorly painted, render damage not replaced with similar render so will have to be re-rendered. Was left unpainted although masonry matching paint left. The door leaked as hadn't been correctly measured or designed. Door cost £1250 #rippedoff terrible customer service. Didn't even take away old door. Beware!!!! Poor workmanship and terrible customer relations and service. When I complained they just emailed and said would take the new door away which was 70% paid for so I had to pay for my door, which even my independent property inspector described as terrible, not even looking level.

We had a number of quotes for a replacement double doors. Restormel joinery are competitively priced and after discussion over design details chose them as contractor. We agreed a timetable for delivery and fitting which they met. The fitters did a good job of taking out the old and fitting the new. We are are very satisfied with the quality and price and will certainly consider them for future projects replacing ageing sash windows.
