Awful place with awful people, so disrespectful and un organised.Would not recommend this place to anyone, lights come half broke and all look disgusting for such a High price, housing units is just around the corner and is much better value and very kind and honest people.Stairs are also very dangerous. No support one trip and it's not looking good for you.

Fantastic place spent ages chosing the right light and wasn't mithered or harrassed. Just left to browse and helped when needed. Found the perfect lights. This will be my first place if I need lights in future. There is a huge selection to choose from.

Bought various lights from Search light. Ceiling lights look great but the mechanical fixing are a nightmare to fix onto ceiling. The bulbs they supply with the lights are a very poor quality and will blow up after a few months.Bought two touch sensitive lights and the circuit board component blew up on one of them when the light bulb filament broke. There was no protection on the circuit board inside the lamp. I only had the touch sensitive light for one and a half years. Search light used to get their components engineered in the UK but they have no been outsourced to China and they use poor circuit board designs. Would not recommend buying from this supplier.Two stars because the lights look nice.

Went to buy lighting for our home after major wall surgery! Be aware the showroom is open to the public but the sales are trade. We were still able to buy and the choice is fantastic!

When a lightfitting is being bought by someone who is obviously not a trades person but just an ordinary customer, I think it would be helpful to inform them that you don't supply the fixings. My electrician assumed they were just lost as he hadn't come across this before. When I rang to ask the staff member was not only unhelpful but rude!

Fantastic displays of lamps, shades and lights to suit all budgets. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

As a Domestic Electrician I avoid using Searchlight products. If you need any technical support it is like trying to get blood out of a stone. By far the worst technical support I have encountered. Pity as a they have a great range and company history.
