Tyddyn Sydney Bach

Impossible to relax here. Verysmall studio cottage. Owner is completely over the top about the place, we simply could not relax the whole three nights we were there. We were told not to touch the heating control computer as it was a £1000 worth of equipment, so of course we didn't. The first two nights the heating did not come on so we had to contact owner, also no wifi on second night. We were frightened to touch anything. Owner is far too precious about the cottage, makes you feel like she doesn't really want anybody to stay in it. Never been so glad to leave a place. It was a total waste of money for us. Would not recommend if you are going away for a chill out.

I had a wonderful stay at Tyddyn Sydney Bach from January to April. The cottage is very cosy and well decorated. It is clean, has a well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom.
Plenty of private space for a single visitor or a couple.
Les and William are wonderful hosts!
I definitely recommend this place if visiting Bangor or looking to explore the wonderful surroundings!

From the moment we drove through the gate and Les welcomed us we knew we had chosen a superb holiday cottage. The attention to detail Les and William have put into the beautiful cottage is fantastic, extremely well equipped, comfortable and cosy. The knowledge they have of the surrounding area is better than any tourist information centre. It has been 35 years since we last visited North Wales but have already made the decision to return to Tydden Sydney Bach next year.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Tyddyn Sydney Bach, you drive up the lane and the gate opens to a wonderful garden and Tyddyn Sydney Bach. A lovely bungalow for two with everything you could ask for set in the gardens. Les and William were perfect hosts, and the situation is ideal for exploring Anglesey and North Wales.

Tyddyn Sydney Bach is a lovely, cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings. It is secluded enough to relax and unwind but close enough to civilisation to be convenient.Les and William were very welcoming and so helpful throughout my stay. They were always on-hand if I needed anything and nothing was too much trouble. Their in-depth knowledge of the surrounding area ensured that there was always plenty to see and do.The cottage itself was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I slept so well and really miss the luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding! The attention to detail really made a difference.Highly recommended.

A very warm and cosy cottage in North Wales with the nicest and kindest landlords I have ever met. Very well suited for solo travellers or couples of all ages. Beautifully equipped with anything you can wish for and ideal for exploring the beautiful North coast of Wales.

I may have stayed in this holiday cottage over 2 years ago, but I can still remember the high quality stunning cottage perfectly.I had two 'long term' stays at Tyddyn Syndey Bach whilst completing my PGCE course at Bangor University.The location was perfect as it was a 5 minute drive to the University and the cottage is in a stunning garden round the back of the owners house.The owners were very friendly and, as they lived on-site, were always willing to help if any issues arose.They have fantastic knowledge of the area and were always willing to recommend interesting places to visit.I would wholeheartedly recommend this holiday cottage to anybody!

An absolute gem! Better than 5* from a warm welcome to an immaculate, clean and comfortable cottage in a lovely garden. Flowers and treats to welcome us and basic essentials plus extras also available. A great place to unwind and recharge batteries or visit this part of Wales with access to Anglesey just minutes away. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

This is just the perfect place to stay. The cottage is absolutely beautiful inside, fully equipped with all you need, with some nice little extras to welcome you such as tea, coffee, biscuits, muesli and a pint of milk in the fridge to tide you over plus a plate of Welsh cakes with butter and jam for that welcome treat. Les and William were perfect hosts ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. The cottage sits in a beautiful garden, perfect to sit outside and relax. This is definitely 5* accommodation and would highly recommend.
