SPB Stoneworks ltd

Thought given the reviews they would provide a great service, however after spending almost 6 weeks+ going back on forth on email (due to long delays in responces) I found their last responce very disappointing to say the least! I'd been waiting to receive 2 quotes back from them for 2 separate designs, while I was waiting to receive this I received an email from them requesting me to pay a £500 deposit!! I thought this was a bit odd,esp given I needed to know the costs first before placing an order etc... I replied back asking if it would be possible to arrange a face to face appointment, not only to see the quality of the stone they were intending to use, but also discuss the design a bit more to help speed up the process so I could obtain the quotes before placing the order. They replied back after a week or so to then suddenly inform me they're too busy so maybe try contacting them again in Jan! I thought that was pretty unprofessional esp given the nature of the purchase, plus the length of time I'd already been waiting to receive the final quotes!

I got recommended SPB Stoneworks by a family member who have used the company before at another graveyard.They were professional and great communication, helpful and nothing was to much trouble.I am over the moon with my fathers headstone which represents my dads working career as a carpenter/ joiner.My dad would of been proud of his headstone.Thank you Simon and the team.

A family member was told 10-12 weeks to let the ground settle, 19 weeks later (numerous emails, no replies) and when you try and phone the message says to email, I had to get the Parish Council involved, we finally got the headstone in place, communications was aweful and excuses after excuses would NEVER use them again.I did email you and infact you sent a nasty one back would you like me to share the evidence on here???Even with all the hassle they had the Headstone looks beautiful and in situ for her birthday.

I contacted SPB Stoneworks after a recommendation to commission a headstone for my mum and I am so glad that I did. I have no hesitation in recommending the quality of workmanship and flexibility of SPB for those looking at a natural headstone with hand carving. Following numerous communications, Simon and his team went to great lengths to fully understand my requirements and then deliver the perfect finished product.

I had received a few quotes during lockdown and it seemed there were a few companies that did not understand what I wanted. SPB Stoneworks have been incredible. This very fussy customer had an idea in mind but couldn’t quite piece it together. My parents cremation tablet was beginning to show its age and was devoid of any paint where the etched lettering was. I contacted SPB Stoneworks by email about the possibility of getting them to carry out the restoration. I had a timely response from Joyce who said they would be able to carry out the work required. SPB took a photo of the before" it was removed for restoration and a few days later sent me a picture of the "after" with the cremation tablet back in situ. What a transformation
