Traditional pub in Leyburn. Good local beers, good roaring fire, very large TV for sport at one end of the lounge, dog friendly. Slightly deterred by the choice language from some locals on a Friday teatime, but did not put us off returning the next day for the leyburn jazz festival which was very good.Will go back when we return to this nice dales town.

Went for a drink at 9.55 pm. Closing at 10pm. ☹️ Hours on this site and Whatpub need revising. I understand that out of season pubs in the Dales close earlier, but please update information.

Visited this pub a couple of times last week. Locals pub but they are so friendly and welcoming best beer and prices in town. Proper pub with nice staff, pool table, dart board and a jukebox. Definetley will call in when im in the area.
