I received my divan bed base and mattress last week and for what I paid, I’m very pleased. It was all packaged well with no damage. It’s strange that there is no latch to hook the 2 bases together though. The only downside in my experience was the delivery. No indication, ie am or pm is offered so a lot of waiting around.

We recently ordered a bed from Bed World Brierley Hill without reading the reviews on here until afterword's which made me a little nervous. However we had amazing service. The lady that initially served us in the Brierley Hill Store we very knowledgeable and patient and took the time to show us many different beds and explain the benefits of different kind of mattresses, We were told up front that it was a delivery to the front door only unless we wanted to pay for delivery which I didn't. I will however warn you that the ottoman beds are exceptionally heavy and we struggled with two of us. The bed is of great quality, extremely comfortable and arrived just as ordered. The delivery man was polite and courteous and we were called a few days beforehand to confirm they were coming. I understand there is a number of awful reviews on here but for us the service was great and I would certainly give them a chance again.

My initial opinion was positive; a decent range of frames and fabrics were available, along with lower prices than the adjacent Dreams store. A convenient delivery date and time was easy to arrange, staff were helpful, and I left the store with a positive impression of BedWorld.The delivery date arrived, with delivery scheduled for 12:00, giving my partner and I a few hours to disassemble the old bed and clear the room. 12:00 came and went with no contact from BedWorld. My partner and I were both ringing head office and the store at the same time with no answer.At 12:50 I received a text message saying that the delivery vehicle had broken down and that we wouldn't be receiving our bed. No call from the office and no attempt to collect my bed (and presumably, the beds of everyone else with delivery that afternoon) with another van.At 13:00 my partner finally got an answer from the store - who knew nothing of the issues and promised to ring a Sales Manager. Later that afternoon, a rearranged delivery couldn't be set for a specific date or one when I was guaranteed to be home; my partner is disabled and she certainly isn't going to run a king-size bed up a flight of stairs - the other negative reviews say more about deliveries than I possibly could. Simply put, I need to be home.At this point, it was easier to just ask for a refund and order from somewhere else. However, the store cannot issue refunds and a refund request must be emailed through to the store - a Gmail account, no less, to add to that air of professionalism - to be approved by the Sales Manager, who refused to speak to me personally, leading to a ridiculous game of Chinese Whispers by email. It took five days of daily emails and a refund request to my credit card provider to finally draw a line under this whole debacle.tl;dr would I recommend Bedworld? No.

2 double beds ordered.Both fine.Except I paid an extra £25 for legs on one bed which didn't arrive, they both came with caster wheels. I emailed the company. They acknowledged my email after 3 times saying they will refund me. Lots of emails later...no replies now.It's only £25 but it's not the point.

A number of negative reviews on here but my personal experience was excellent. Ordered a bed online, called afterwards as we needed quick delivery. Was told to email main email address and received an email back within minutes confirming an early delivery date. Had a call a couple of days before hand confirming delivery date and time. Mattress arrived when they said it would. Good quality mattress and well packaged. Can't fault them

I have ordered a bed online which didn’t even last a year. The bed base and headboard wasn’t strong enough and very flimsy absolutely poor quality. We started facing issues with the bed within 6 months and I was in 1 year warranty and I contacted the team via email and phone several times and not getting response at all. Very bad service and product wouldn’t recommend it. Save your money and buy elsewhere. ***Bed world if you see this review kindly respond back to my email which would be helpful.

Ordered beds and was really friendly, even though i felt they would have said anything to make the sale! Day of drlivery came and was phoned and informed beds had arrived damaged to company so would need to be sent back, 3 days extra wait but thought ok, better them find the damage than us! New delivery day arrived and without warning van pulled up with only 1 driver so had to help unload. van driver very plesent though!The beds were for my disabled parents so lord knows what would of happened if i wasn't there! Beds seem ok from what i could see, phoned husband to come up and help take old bed down and get new ones in. Maybe give a bit of notice before showing up?

I ordered my bed on the 11th August and it arrived on the 19th which I was very pleased with. Unfortunately the bed was horrendous, there was so quality to it at all, the base had a big hole in it, two of the draws were scratched, the runners for the draws weren't attached properly and the mattress had two holes in it.I sent an email the same day I received the bed and the next day I sent a message via Facebook and they responded very quickly and offered to exchange the bed which I accepted, I was very skeptical about the replacement, however it arrived today and I can not fault it! The quality is miles better than the original bed I was sent, you would genuinely think it was a completely different bed, the base is so much sturdier and feels like a proper bed!
