Dryslwyn Castle
Beautiful views from the top of the castle, however not one for people with limited mobility. Very steep steps to climb then mud/ grass terrain is hard going. We went on a wet and blustery day, but were rewarded with stunning 360 views around the area. You can also see Paxton Tower up on the hill from here. Definitely one to return to on a clear summer night to watch the sunset! Free car park just over the road with plenty of parking and also had some picnic tables

Stunning views, with patchwork farmland and winding rivers bedded to the ring of mountains surrounding in the distance. Lovely little car park with picnic area at the foot of the castle ascent.

A beautiful place to spend some time , marvelling at the 13th century ruins commanding panoramic views .Free parking with picnic tables and access , well worth the hike up.

Great historical castle ruins but what makes the climb more worthwhile is the amazing views from the top of the surrounding countryside. The small car park & picnic site is on the opposite side of the road to the steps to climb to the castle

Just beautiful. Totally free. Short Steep walk up to the castle from the free car park but totally worth it. Usually sheep roaming so dogs have to be on leads. Great place for a picnic with a view. There are a few info boards explaining the history. The river near the car park is a popular twitching spot. (Bird watching)

Fab little walk up a fairly steepish hill side, free car park at the bottom. Lovely to walk around with stunning views of surrounding countryside. Whats not to love?

Lovely peaceful, the castle in on top of a hill. You will not be disappoint with the stunning views of the Towy Valley.

Nice walk up the hill with a large parking at its foot. Great views of the castle ruin itself, the river valley and Paxton Tower
