Shenton Station Car Park
Great place to visit although the Battlefield behind is only a minor area of the actual battlefield on Fenn Lanes corner of Foxcoverts Lane by the airfield.

Shenton Station Car Park
Spacious car park but often busy at weekends, principally used for leisure purposes however there are two craft shops adjacent to the parking. The car park is at the end of the line for the Battlefield heritage railway. Nice walks from here to the Bosworth battle field and to the Ashby canal. At summer weekends refreshments are available from Shenton railway station. There is a toilet block in the car park.

Located at the end of the Battlefield line this carpark offers a gateway to either walking the Ashby Canal or the Battlefield Centre. Toilets are clean & tidy and there is a small cafe & Shenton Glass here too. Not overly expensive for a days parking either, just watch out for potholes and mud.

Good parking, with app payment option which is great because the machine hasn't worked for months. Great access to the battlefield walk, canal walks and multiple cafes.

Loved it here..proper steam train comes and goes at certain times of the day which you can take a ride on..theres a cafe at the station where you can get a drink and something to eat and just people watch also a lovely woodland park to walk around very nice place is shenton!!!

Really quaint little end of.line station at bottom of hill from the Bosworth battlefield visitor centre BUT the cafe was closed! Shop next door selling art and crafts. Good car parking opposite.

Great stop off point to use the toilets, watch the trains at the end of the Battlefield Line or Visit Shenton Station or Shenton Glass. It sits on quite a few of the different walks around the Ashby Canal, Bosworth Battlefield and disused railway track bed.

Double delight, sited just outside Shenton village the car park not only gives access to Shenton Station but also allows access to the Battle Field visit centre with many paths lined with exhibits and information about the Battlefield and the people who took part.Parking charge 2.50 per car per day cash and phone only no card touch pad on machine. Check gate for closing times.
