I have used Chris for many years on several houses I have owned and his work has always been exemplary. He has recently finished a bathroom for me and the finishing touches are first class. Many thanks Chris.

In February 2019 we contracted Chris - Once our extension was done and paid for he then began work on a new porch, this was subcontracted out - This incompetent sub-contractor decided to take tiles off our finished roof and then left us with no roof covering for 4-6 weeks, during this time Chris went away on holiday leaving us with a freshly plastered ceiling potentially open to the elements.Due to his lack of care and communication, we decided to get a third party involved to determine how much it would cost to rectify, at which point we were informed the quality of work was so poor it required re-doing.We arranged for three separate contractors to inspect and all came to the same conclusion. Chris refuses to acknowledge he's in the wrong, despite having been given an independent roof survey stating unequivocally that the work is of a poor standard and not fit for purpose.We have now issued court proceedings against him to recover the funds - avoid this man like the plague, he is happy to take your hard earned but heaven forbid you expect a decent standard of workmanship.**UPDATE***Since we had a second builder, we've found further issues with Chris' work - We were charged £600 to install foul drainage for a new toilet; this was always on the architects plan (No confusion could arise) - but it turns out the drains were plumbed straight into a surface water drain.

I commissioned Chris to build our first storey extension after reviewing other builders. He allowed us to contact other clients who he had done similar work for, and we did our due diligence and went to speak with them and see his work first hand. All work was carried out to a high standard and Chris and his team were professional at all times. The job finished on time and to budget too. Chris’ advice throughout the build was exceptional. He recommended a few changes to our plans, liaised with the building inspector to ensure his work and our extension met all the relevant regulations. Subsequently I have used Chris on 3 further occasions, once to aid the installation of a log burner, then a partial garage converrsion and more recently to construct a composite decking area in our garden. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris, and indeed already have done to friends and family.

I’ve used Chris for many of years now from flooring to relaying my driveway. The quality of work is outstanding and I would always recommend to anyone who wants a high level standard of work doing

Poor customer service, asked for a quote, was told I would receive it later in the day. Didn't hear anything, chased several times a week later and no answer, if you ain't interested then be professional and let people know so they can move on!!!!
