Phlick was a really good hairdressing experience. The salon is super clean and comfortable. It wasn't over busy or noisy. The music was a great level and was chilled which added to the vibe.My hairdresser Kelly was lovely, I mentioned that I sometimes find salons to be overwhelming and she was very caring, did my consultation and then just got on with doing my hair and left me to quietly enjoy. She did a curly cut which was really good, it's so nice to have someone who understands curls properly. She is very knowledgeable and I know had great advice. Because of the aforementioned, Kelly didn't tell me everything she was doing, but I know she provides that sharing of knowledge to get the best from your curls if you want.It was a really good experience, and the prices were easy to find online so no shocks at the till.The whole vibe was really nice in the salon and there was easy to find street parking nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Ricky has been my stylist for many years now - I followed him across from his previous employ, now to his own gig in Martock. Ricky, uniquely, understands my hair. We discuss when it needs to look at its absolute best - maybe the date for a public speaking event - and cuts accordingly. Brills. And Ricky is my proto-psychiatrist, actually offering better counsel than some professional trick-cyclists I have known. An hour whizzes by; serious talk sometimes, but more often a complete laugh.Ricky, sorry I went to that Turkish joint a few months back - it was an impulse buy walk-in job; you did a great rescue mission.Phlick is obviously a great place for his co-workers too. He and Phill obviously know how to manage a top line outfit and select their juniors well. Great service which includes a cup of coffee for openers! That's customer focus for you.

I have only recently found Phlick. I have visited Kelly twice and she is amazing. I have thick curly hair and Kelly has worked wonders. I’ve never been so happy with my hair. I won’t be going anywhere else!

This salon is first class! I was one of the first new customers there when they opened and love to go there! Probably one of Phil's older" ladies but he cuts my hair in really flattering styles which I love! Nice and trendy without being mutton dressed as lamb!! Thanks Guys!! Booked in with Sam and got of the best hair cuts and styles I’ve ever had. I asked for a specific cut and style for a wedding the next day and he ensured the style matched the reference photo even a day later. Can’t recommend him enough. Nice energy and a good chat too :)

I visited Phlick a few weeks ago. What a pretty salon. I received a warm welcome as I walked in and felt instantly relaxed. I had my appointment for a color and cut with Sophie. Initially I wasn’t quite sure if it was highlights or a balayage that I wanted, only that I knew how I wanted it to look in the end. Also that I wanted it fairly easy to maintain.Sophie talked me through my options and the best way to achieve the look I was going for. This took some time because I’m not the best at explaining what I want. She was very patient though :) also very knowledgeable about the products and color, so I felt I was in good hands. The result, a truly beautiful colour and cut. My hair hasn’t looked and felt this good for years. (Oh, great little head massage at the sinks too!) Sophie is a genuinely lovely person. Super friendly and pleasant to talk to. I’ll definitely be back.
