A big shout out for Village Pet, Kensal Green. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and efficient in their responses, and together with the Vet, Isaco, it has to be 5 star rating!I truly appreciate Isaco's approach to animal care. He is not fixed or pushy in terms of his suggestions and leaves space for you as the owner to decide what next. This is highly important to me as I veer towards a complementary approach as well as conventional treatment and he never makes me feel bad because of it ( which I have experienced elsewhere in the past). I know my dog Blondie is always in the best of hands and wouldn't consider anywhere else. Big thanks!Blondie and Pearl

The receptionist Shannon is awful. I had ask to check my dogs vaccination date and unfortunately she wasn't able to do the most simplest request, she hang up the phone on my face. I do not recommend this place at all. Please go to another branch.

Absolutely the worst vets! Every branch is just terrible. They’re all money hungry. Took my parents cat in because he was itching violently and was throwing up. They gave us nothing for his itching even though he was examined and the vet said his ear was bleeding because of how much he has itched it. They only addressed his vomiting so that we bring him in a separate time for his itching and have to pay for another consultation. He was taken again to the vets because of the itching and was only giving a steroid shot. Nothing else was giving for long term. No diagnoses, no reason for the itching, nothing! The poor boy has congestive heart failure and the itching has just added stress! Village vet are thieves and they don’t care about the animals at all!

Our dog Bernie has been going to this vet since he was 8 weeks old - he absolutely loves Shannon, Sabrina & Dr Isaco and is always delighted to see them (which isn’t particularly common for dogs and vets)! Recently, Bernie became very lethargic and off his food. We took him to Village Vet as a precaution - but thankfully they realised it was something more serious and ran some blood tests & temperature checks. It turned out that Bernie was actually very poorly - but thanks to Dr Isaco’s thoroughness and care, he was moved to the right hospital & given the care he needed. After 6 days in hospital and a few recuperating at home we just took Bernie to see Dr Isaco, Shannon & Sabrina to say hi and thank you - and he was as delighted to see them as ever! Thanks so much to Village Vet Kensal Green for saving Bernie’s life & for always being such brilliant and caring vets. We really do feel very lucky to have you!

I can highly recommend the vets and staff, very patient with my numerous questions. Extremely efficient and caring, we have been with them for seven months including my puppy being Spayed, the aftercare was brilliant.

I had an appointment at the Village Vet for Mango (my dog) on the 15th of July. Firstly i want to point out how extremely poor the service was from the vet. He was very nonchalant with our dog. My partner and myself were a bit shocked at his treatment of our dog, being that it was her first ever vet appointment (outside of her vaccines). We voiced that she had been itching a lot for while and were concerned she had fleas, to which he sniggered and told us it didn’t seem like it. We then had to ask him to check for us and he ran one swipe of a comb and confirmed she didn’t have fleas. He didn’t do any other checks of her body/health until we asked him to. For a first appointment this was underwhelming. In any profession, regardless of the appointment type, if something as serious as fleas is brought up as a concern, the doctor in charge should exercise all routes to ensure that the diagnosis will be accurate. To have to also ask a doctor to check my dogs general health, like ears, paws and teeth is absurd to say the least. What is the point to pay £70 for a general consolation if nothing ‘general’ was evaluated nor were our very real concerns. He was also quick to judge our treatment of our dog without any context. Not to mention that we overheard the consultation prior to ours and the doctor was extremely vocal and enthusiastic with the dog and the owner. So for us to go in straight after and receive the most underwhelming and laziest consultation was quite upsetting. We were so excited for this consultation and the doctor took the life out of it. That was an opportunity for him to learn our dog and build a rapport with us.We are aware that the doctor recommended flea treatment, however it was only a recommendation based on his diagnosis that my dog in fact did NOT have fleas. Therefore, no urgency was applied to our dogs health. We decided not to go with the doctors recommendation purely because we didn’t feel like he had given us an honest review of our pet and had recommended many other treatments and health plans, that diluted the flea concern. He also mentioned that the reason for itching is due to the shampoo we were washing her with. This is not to say that we didn’t use a flea treatment. We had these concerns coming into the vet, we were already prepared with flea treatments that were recommended by the first vet we visited when she got her vaccines. Our Dog has continued to excessively itch since our visit to the Village vet and so we had taken her to another vet who has confirmed, after a thorough check, that she indeed did have fleas and that the infestation has been a few month long. This result furthers our complaints to the negligent vet that saw our dog. When describing the consultation to the vet and other dog owners we know, they also seemed to think that your vet had no care or empathy or professionalism when dealing with our dog.We are taking the appropriate steps to treat our dog at this current stage, however we feel that not only do we deserve a full refund on the horrible consultation, we also deserve the flea treatment your doctor recommended free of charge. We also do not wish to return to the Village Vet as this experience has been traumatic for us and our Dog. To clarify the Vets name is ISACO DE ARMAS.

I'm so grateful that Dr. Isaco de Armas is now the head vet of Kensal Green. He is totally in tune with my cats (and I'm sure with all animals). Not only is he a skilled and experienced veterinarian, he remembers each of my cat's particular quirks and is professional and kind. Thank you, Isac!

Excellent VET service, i just love how all the staff at Village vet kensal green are so friendly, helpful & patient! My 6yr old dog Caesar has been with them for 6yrs! He recently had teeth extractions done and the staff and main vet called Isaco is so lovely. Isaco explained everything to me before Caesars appt and was so reassuring, he even called me once Caesar was under anaesthetic to let me know all was ok and called again once Caesar had finished the procedure. My 5month old Puppy Kaiser is also with Village vet & again, they have been amazing! If you are looking for a brilliant vet with A Star service, i highly reccomend them! Thank you to Isaco & all the staff at Village Vet Kensal Green for being so AMAZING!! X
