Amazing practice lovely staff particularly Mr Bellringer I believe he's called gave our dog a second chance in life he was kind to her didn't give up on her when many vets would have we unfortunately lost our beautiful Poppy this week but I'm so grateful for the way he treated her he genuinely cared only vet I have come across with such empathy and care towards

Another great visit from Paul for my horse. Only a vaccination, but always a professional and friendly experience from the staff in the office to the visit. My cob is a bit anxious to say the least, but Paul always takes the time to settle and reassure him before taking any action. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Always had a very good service reception desk staff very friendly and helpful, vets are excellent never had any problems everything always explained & given the best advice would definitely recommend them excellent vets

We have been going to Churchfield Vets for 23 years after a recommendation by a neighbour. We had four dogs under their highly experienced care. The reception staff have always been friendly and helpful and whilst we had a number of vets look after our dogs, the outstanding vet is Mr Bellringer due to his very high level of knowledge, experience and care.I would totally recommend Churchfield Vets in Barnsley.

I took my 13 year old dog to churchfield vets on Sunday (30th July 2023) he was in a bad way and when we got seen by the vet ( KEITH BELLRINGER) he spoke to us with no respect, I asked KEITH if my dog was going to die or if he was in the dying process and he replied saying “ well we are all dying aren’t we” so I carried on letting him speak about my dog and then he said it could be something to do with his brain or his nerves and he said the name for it so I asked him to repeat what it could be to me so I could write it down and do my own research as I felt like I couldn’t ask him anything and he replied saying “ it could be a lot of things but that” he made me feel intimidated and when I came out of the vets I was no wiser about my dog, I therefore rang another vet for further advice and they was more helpful!I couldn’t thank the receptionist enough she was so kind and polite!

Having dogs and horses I’ve always received a great service from Churchfields, but more so recently from Slaven.Having not had a great time this year losing 2 of my dogs, one of them being ill beforehand, he gave me great support.He also vaccinated my horses and was patient with my wary mares and gave great advice.For me it’s about having a vet I can trust who cares about the animals which he most definitely does - he’s a credit to Churchfields!

Had a visit from Slaven to do two blood tests for two of my horses. I normally have Tom for my horses but Slaven was very professional and friendly and completely put me at ease. He took bloods and was curious and asked questions and seemed to be genuinely interested in all the horses. Would definitely be happy for Slaven to treat my horses in the future

Lovely friendly staff. Knowledgeable and experienced vets. They look after our cats very well even though they can be difficult patients.

Vets are very nice especially that one vet called Penny she is very helpful and nice she helped my cat and was lovely definitely go to their practice it’s very good!

Ive used them over 40 yrs. Through worst times they were compassionate not just the vet but the whole team they treated our pets with respect and dignity. The ice times they shared joy and were interested. Highly recommended them to family and friends and any one who asks . I have used other vets on rare occasions if away from home and even pdsa( for a short time) but always come back to churchfield . I like that your remembered and the whole of the staff shows interest . Theyr very fairly priced and I hope to continue to use them for many many yrs to come .Many regards
