Mow's Coffee
Fantastic little specialty coffee shop, well placed in the city centre, near Sheffield Hallam University and half way between the train station and Moor Market. It's a small place, with a very warm atmosphere and comfortable seats. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and exceptional specialty coffee to match.I had a delicious single origin filter coffee and a well brewed specialty espresso, both just about perfectly extracted and served in very comfortable notNeutral cups. The cheese toastie I had was one of the best I've had from a cafe in a while! The cheese mix and spices worked together well, and it was nicely presented when served. Everything seemed well priced, and the serving size was perfect for lunch.Well deserving of a top rating - I'm looking forward to coming back again some time soon!

Always love this place. Today was a new person but they had the same attention to detail as anyone that works here. I have a bad habit of watching drinks being made admittedly when in a speciality coffee shop and honestly this barista made every drink to a high standard. I was only in there for an hour but saw them give recommendations on beans and grind them to order, serve a group with the same passion for quality and engage people in conversation. They also said hello to my doggo ( who loves a fuss ), overheard them saying it’s their last shift which is a shame but know I always get a great coffee when the owner is in. Also love the amount of awesome books on display to read and there’s always at least one vegan cake when I’ve visited.

The worst coffee shop I have ever been, the coffee tasted awful they didn't even have sugar, you can pay only by card and they refused to give me a receipt when I asked and they didn't show me how much I payed. The staff was so rude. He didn't even care that he didn't have any sugar which is a normal thing when you buy a coffee.. the worst experience in this beautiful city.. save your money go somewhere else..Sam you are such a liar and a very rude person, you never told us that you didn't have sugar, after we paid and we asked for sugar you told us to go inside to get it, after we didn't find it, you told us in a rude tone that if it's not in the container we don't have any. The coffee was awful you made another one, that we didn't asked, we asked for sugar, so what's the point, you must tell people before they buy the coffee that you don't have sugar, that's a normal thing that people use when they buy coffee.. you never offer to send the receipt by email. You are the worst coffee shop I ever been and the rudest person.. Awful experience

Great friendly spot with amazing speciality coffee and professional baristas. 100% recommend if you are or around Sheffield. Comfortable seats inside or tables outside if the weather is dry. Love the little hatch on Arundel Street that also offers takeaway coffee so you don't have to go inside. Welcomed with a friendly face and also advice and recommendations of whatever coffee or brew method you like. From Lattes, batch brew to pour over.

Mow's Coffee
One of / the best places for serious coffee in Sheffield. They have a selection of coffees on at any one time (currently 6) including different processing methods (e.g. naturals) and brewing methods. Various pastries and cakes are excellent locally produced artisan level as well.If I was being fussy (standard) I'd say I dislike the exposed bulbs which are unfortunately ubiq for hipster joints. Other than that, pleasant chilled vibe with repurposed transport seating and the obligatory bare brick walls. Also shares some courtyard seating with Tamper, which is a pretty silly amount of good coffee on one courtyard.

I now love this place as my must go to place when in Sheffield. It’s all just so perfect. The guys in the Mac repair shop round the corner put me on to it. Coffees are real real nice. The cakes, they are amazing!!! I’m over from abroad and I got here for 9am cappuccino extra hot and a cinnamon swirl iced with e most loveliest icing, cinnamon all moist and so so tasty. Off to see my sister and mum next with a box of cakes from here, wish I could take the coffees that far. If they did small beers here I’d book the whole place for my birthday.

Came in today to try some coffee beans that are different from my usual. Got a Burundi and was excited to dial it in. It was impossible to get a decent espresso! Had to go down to the finest grind level and the extraction was still off.I then swapped from single walled basket to double walled basket (keeping the same settings) and voila it worked which can only mean one thing! I then checked the date of roasting - almost 4 weeks! To be sold stale beans at £12.50 per 250g bag is extremely disappointing!

The best coffee shop in Sheffield by a wide, wide margin. Best coffee selection: the house coffees are always good and I’ve loved pretty much every guest roasters they’ve brought in. The baked goods they have are always awesome and are changing quite regularly. It’s also a lovely spot to sit in.I recommend this place to absolutely everyone who asks for a good coffee in Sheffield

I genuinely think this might be one of if not the best coffee I’ve ever had. Definitely go here for a nice treat and coffee to take a break from your day!! Pistachio cherry cookie was amazing, and coffee basque cheesecake was so tasty!
