Here’s my deal with this place: the place is beautiful, spacious, the service is very friendly and attentive and the food is definitely good. You can tell the quality of the ingredients is great and the chefs are very skilled. My main issue with this place is the price and Portion sizes. You’re going to drop at least around 100£ per person and you still might leave hungry. Drinks are super expensive as well for no reason. Yes it’s mayfair, but the prices are still not justified. We much prefer other Asian places, which is a shame as we enjoy many of the other restaurants from the group that KOYN belongs to (jamavar, bombay bustle etc). Pleasant experience, but just not enough value for the price.

Food was really delicious. Not everything was wow but always tasty. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was a little strange as we were the only guests in the whole restaurant. That was a bit weird. I dont understand why as it was yummy.

Clean, tasteful and traditional Japanese cuisine in the heart of Mayfair.The staff are incredible and extremely attentive.The food hit the spot, and their recommendations were really thoughtful.The venue is elegant and spans couple of floors with an area for private dining as well if you want to entertain a small gathering

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was taken aback by its stunning design that perfectly blended modernity with a cozy ambiance. It was evident that every detail was carefully curated to create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.The culinary journey at Koyn was a delight. Each sushi dish was a testament to the chef’s expertise and creativity, offering an explosion of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation of each dish was a work of art. The menu offered a wonderful variety, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate.What truly set Koyn apart was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Anca, was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and had a knack for making excellent recommendations. Her passion for the restaurant’s offerings was infectious, and she played a significant role in elevating our dining experience.

Amazing dining experience. The place is simple but yet very cozy with great interior details. I went in for light lunch and had a great selection.Appetizer: spicy edamame & Koyn SaladMain: crispy squid l, rolls (spicy tuna, California and highly recommend the wagyu truffle beef.

First we were nicely greeted at the entrance, the service was good throughout the meal and the server was nice.Now to the best part: the food.Everything was delicious, the tuna tartare was the best I’ve ever had (yet), the robata halibut was cooked to perfection. This place is a must whenever you’re in Mayfair.

Really nice food, exceptional service. Havier (waiter) couldn't do enough for us and ensured we had everything we needed.The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and had lots of flavour. The sushi was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing.The cheesecake ice cream is a must-try

I liked that we got a nice table, interestingly downstairs, where the kitchen is, is in my view recommendable. The food was impeccable, tasty, a wide range of choices which includes also Sushi, but other good dishes. Service was great by Sam, Atmosphere was lively but not loud, we had a successful business meeting. Anytime again!
