Unite Students - Trafalgar Hall

Decent sized rooms with a pretty good view. It is right next to the eldon building so it means if you have lectues in there then it is easy to get to. The price is one of the cheaper out of the halls but you get for what you pay for. The decor is not the best but decent, the team which work here are great and very helpful. The bathroom is a wet room so make sure to check it out before you use it as some people do not like it. The kitchen is big with 2 fridge freezers and 2 sinks with plenty of cupboard space.

Best location, nice stuff, clean place, good wifi. I like it.

Edit. Tale of two cities.Good view over dockyard and island. Well placed in city.Yet wafer thin walls. On the application it said about quiet/not quiet area. I selected the former.Unfortunately I got a loud neighbour. Loud voice, laugh etc who is a gamer through 1am-4am if not longerComplaints get nowhereIf you want a decent sleep, something I've not had in over 7 months, try somewhere else

Stayed here for 1st year.It’s ok at best. Probably the best for 1st years if you want something decent as well as it’s price.But it does have issues.- Maintenance was always extremely slow (took 3 months to fix the elevator)- TERRIBLE sound proofing, seriously the worst thing here you can here absolutely every single tiny sound which is extremely irritating- the en suite is small and poor quality with a pretty poor shower- Kitchen doesn’t even come with a toaster or kettle- Fridges are just barely ok for 6 people

Absolute load of rubbish, not worth the money at all, everything falls apart, we currently have a broken tap and broken door handles which haven’t been fixed. Showers get blocked and don’t drain easily. maintenance are always in and out of flats. Reception is meant to be 8am-8pm Monday- Friday, and 9-5pm weekends but is hardly ever open so you can’t collect your parcels. The kitchen door has a student alarm on it so you can’t prop the door open as a flaming alarm goes off after 5 mins. The flat gets ridiculously hot as you can’t open windows much. There is currently a silverfish outbreak which is vile. Only 4 washing machines and dryers for the building so be prepared to never have access to these unless you’re up super early. The fire alarm is tested EVERY Tuesday at 10.30 which is a pain and also internet is awful I’ve used my data constantly whilst being here. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Shoddy infrastructure, generally ineffective and unhelpful staff, little-to-no soundproofing, useless dryers, flats that are all falling apart before you even move into them, all for exorbitant amounts of money that your maintenance loan will not cover.You'll be better off living elsewhere, trust me.
