Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse

Came for the family fun day in August bringing my little sister for her first time.This place is amazing and very small and comfortable for kids compared to the larger courses.The staff were absolutely fantastic with a good selection food/drink choices which were reasonable priced.Will be back again for sure!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, it's not like the hustle and bustle of a Cheltenham and is very family friendly without the massive crowds. Food and drink are reasonably priced for a race course.

Visited today to drop some race goers off for an afternoon or racing. It is situated in a lovely area and on the way to it to pass a beautiful little quaint village that is Bangor-On-Dee. Upon arrival whether in coach or car you are shown your area by the gents on the gates. Very helpful staff who guide and inform you. Once parked you make your way to go through the course gates. Also there is an enbankment that people set up tables, chairs, gazebos and enjoy the day and has a great view of the track. Races started about 1.20pm and last race was 5.40pm. Getting out of the carpark after last race can be manic with vehicles leaving and taxis arriving but it is all marshalled brilliantly. All in all a good day out, food prices are a bit high but then that is the norm at places like this. There are race meetings throughout the year so check out their website to keep informed

Always a top class day out, beautiful race course with fantastic natural views of all the race course. Affordable admission charges and excellent facilities. If you're an owner lucky enough to have a runner, then it's a 5⭐ experience. Ten out of ten.

This is such a great racecourse. Stunning location. Very friendly and not overcrowded. Just need a couple of winners next time....

Lovely race course with good facilities and such friendly people

Went for the family. Fun evening. Very good night of racing mainly because I had six winners!Something I only achieve achieve about once every 5 years.Very easy course to get in and out of ,good number of bookmakers. facilities good generally, there is no covered stand and thus in inclement weather you would have to be inside unless you were prepared for the elements.

Family day on the open course is a great day out. Fetch your own food, drink and money to lose on bets and you will have a great time. Activities for the kids are free.

Fantastic day at the Races. Easy to get around. Nice, well kept paddock area. Bars well stocked & easy access, no queues. Staff friendly & curteous. Overall, a great racing experience.
