Forest Way Bunkhouse
We had an incredible stay at the bunkhouse. Unbeatable location between the tree in the valley. Walking distance from the mountain routes and rivers. Forest Gardens right across the road.The bunkhouse is very well equipped with a lovely kitchen and drying room for wet gear. Two very tidy bathrooms with lovely showers.The owners are extremely helpfull, they even gave us lifts to the nearby town. They also sell their own free range eggs.This has been the highlight of our entire trip. Would most definitely highly recommend the bunkhouse.RegardsJohann and Comine from South Africa

Forest Way Bunkhouse
A beautiful, tranquil place in a magical area. My room had everything I could possibly need. As I was walking Scottish National Trail / Cape Wrath Trail (now completed) Iain had kindly accepted my sending half of my food to the bunkhouse so I didn't need to carry 10 days' worth of food on the trip. He also very kindly gave me a lift to Inverlael where I resumed the hike overnight. He's very friendly and helpful.I'd love to stay again.

Forest Way Bunkhouse
Brilliant and one of the best hostels I've stay in for a long time. A good DRYING room unless most hostels nowadays. Ensuite rooms for £20 a night with a self catering kitchen. Fantastic place and Iain was really friendly and accomodating. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

Forest Way Bunkhouse
Stopped here by chance and very grateful to find vacant bunks, shared with another travel pair.First time in a bunkhouse and definitely not a bad experience.Shower was great but there's no sound privacy at all with a concertina type door !Very well equipped kitchen.Sleeps 8 in total but I'm guessing you'd have to book in advance if you were needing all the bunks.Very nice and welcoming host.

Forest Way Bunkhouse
Me and 2 friends bunked here for 1 night. Lovely little place surrounded by forests, very peaceful. You can hear the water flowing nearby which creates a tranquil environment. The owner, Ian is a lovely man. His family is also on the site who are also lovely people. The communal area in the bunkhouse was spacious and offered everything you need. Each guest room has an en suite with 4 bunks in each room. You can also rent these rooms so if you're with a small group you can create a private area. If I ever do the nc500 again I will stay here!

This was a great wee stop on our NC500 trip - the bunkhouse is in a beautiful location and very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Iain was a great host with some helpful recommendations - thanks for the eggs!

Forest Way Bunkhouse
Spent a night here in the middle of my eight day bikepacking trip, and I'm so glad I did! It was a lovely stay, right across the road from the Lael Forest Garden and got some eggs from Iain's chickens for breakfast :)

Forest Way Bunkhouse
Iain and his dad were some of the nicest people we met on our trip through and round Scotland we couldn't have asked for more! The room we stayed in we paid a little extra for to book it out, it was very clean and tidy with a lovely drive area to sit outside. The area around this site should be considered an area of outstanding natural beauty. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Forest Way Bunkhouse
It is a nice little place. The bunk house is well maintained and it’s neat and clean. Host is really warm and helpful in nature. The kitchen is also well equipped. I would suggest this place to everyone who wanna go up to grave or Ullapool.
