Went during the lunch time so was quiet and had a lively chat with the team.Food and drinks were great, crazier golf was fantastic!Will have to come back ASAP for AI darts and axe throwing

Me and my boyfriend were panicking that we were late but never fear, Jamie and Shawn are here. We were well looked after by these two as they made us feel at ease and kept the drinks flowing, ordered our food as soon as we arrived which all added to the atmosphere and culture of the place. Thank you so much both of you. For our first experience at boom battle bar, you’ve made sure it won’t be our last.

Arrived here this afternoon for an impromptu game of mini golf.I was met by a very nice chap called Jamie who was really friendly and definitely bringing good vibes to the place. We had a game of mini golf which was fun.We had the lovely bar tender molly who couldn’t do enough to ensure a fantastic day. One drink turned into 4. We ended up staying for some food. The cauliflower wings were like no other and my loaded friends were very tasty.Shaun suggested another game which we couldn’t turn down he is a very positive young lad and assisted us with any queries as we were new to the boom battle bar experience.All in all a truly great experience. Where we were only expecting to stay a hour and ended up staying three hours.The staff that work there are an asset to the company. Very well done.I will be back again soon with a few more people and a longer night.Thanks guys!

Cracking night out and one of the best recent additions to Chelmsford’s nightlife.From Axe throwing, beer pong, augmented darts to karaoke to name a few you can easily spend all night here. Food is not bad either. Definitely pre-book weeks in advance for best time slots.

Axe throwing was an absolute thrill - it's not every day you get to wield an axe! It's both challenging and exhilarating, suitable for beginners and more experienced throwers. The safety measures and guidance from staff ensure a great time with no worries.Crazier golf is another highlight. It's not your typical mini-golf; it's an adventure in every sense. The courses are creatively designed, offering a mix of fun and challenge that keeps you engaged and entertained.The bar and food options are the cherries on top. A great selection of drinks, from classic beers to creative cocktails, and the food is delicious

Decent venue for an afternoon out with friends trying some different activities. We did ace throwing, shuffleboard, darts and crazy golf but could have easily spent the afternoon on the shuffleboard. Drinks are reasonably priced for a city centre entertainment venue but the food is extortionate. We ordered two “cheesy” fries at £6 a pop and got two handfuls of fries in a basket covered in some sort of cheese sauce - not the best.

Come here for bottomless brunch and had and amazing time. Jamie was our server and kept the drinks flowing. Would definitely come again for brunch
