Oakmere Park: Holiday Lodges & Caravans

Having recently purchased a holiday home at Oakmere Park, we were very impressed with the overall & professional way Mike & Brian conducted our purchase as well as the initial communication & our viewings. Mike explained in much detail all the site services, rules, etc; We were previously aware of this great family run site & were familiar with the set up. We have been wanting to move to this site for some time & are so pleased that it has now happened, people we have met on the site have been very friendly & warming to us. A friend having recently visited our holiday home was very impressed with the site & our new purchase too. Jon & Karen

We're looking to buy a static caravan in the area so that we could spend time with our daughter who lives in Worcester. We rented a cottage nearby so that we could look around a few sites.We were almost put off visiting Oakmere by some of the very negative reviews but decided we should see for ourselves. We are so pleased we did!Monday November 26th we visited unannounced and met Mike the owner's son who showed us around two caravans in which we had expressed interest. Mike was knowledgeable and informative, whilst also being friendly and polite. There was absolutely no pressure to buy on the spot. We said we would consider the units available and he gave us a business card and an information leaflet and we left.All very professional and an absolute pleasure to speak to.Friday November 30th we visited unannounced again and met Brian the park owner. we explained that we had seen Mike on Monday last and were interested in both of the two units we had viewed and wanted some more information to enable us to make a decision on whether to proceed and with which one.Brian was very forthcoming with all the information requested and he showed us around both of the units again with yet more advice and information. We actually viewed one of the 2 units twice with Brian and although we still couldn't decide there and then which one to purchase, Brian showed no sign of the usual salesman's irritation and pushiness, provided yet more advice and information, offered drinks, took our details, and saw us out.Later in the day Brian also showed our daughter around the same units as we wanted her opinion too! How very helpful.This park is well kept, has beautiful views in a lovely location and is family owned and run. Having met owner and son and been professionally and courteously dealt with we will have no hesitation in buying here, nor in recommending this park to other prospective buyers.All in all a five star experience!Update: December 2018: We bought a Caravan here. Absolutely love the unit and the site. This is my kind of site! Well run and carefully managed for the benefit of all the owners. Deserves every one of the 5 stars!

Wonderful, well run Park.

After reading some of the reviews online i thought we would make up my own mind about Oakmere, so booked an appointment. Arrived yesterday as expected, as we had seen 2 caravans for sale on their site we were interested in buying. First of all there was no welcome from either of the male staff in Reception, thought this to be very rude as we are cash buyers and was ready to spend up to £20k. Shown the 2 caravans but felt really uneasy and not left for 1 minute to browse. He informed us that our small van we had arrived in wasn't allowed onsite but when I pointed out another van on site he made some excuse. Told when we are allowed to stay (weekends and holidays only) didn't print off any info, the rent can go up with inflation so £3,100 will rise. When we left we was handed his business card, I said so your name was Brian we never knew? Caravans were full of dead flies and in desperate need of a good clean, the £20k one that had just apparently came available, had dead flies in every room. You would think spending so much money you would be made to feel more welcome but we couldnt wait to leave. Very poor customer service if any, and only after your money.

A very well and professionally run site. Beautiful views of the Malvern Hills. Pitches are a good size and the grounds are immaculate. Very quiet. Just the place to get away from it all and relax. Oakmere Park is a family run business who rightly take great pride in the Park. Ellie has helped us with a very smooth move into our new van. Thank you!!
