I recently bought a 3 bedroom terraced house that requires a lot of work. As well as the entire house requiring the ceilings and walls re plastering, it also requires a new kitchen, a new bathroom, the bathroom to be extended amongst other things.The previous owner had also made the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms into one big room. As I have 2 children I required a wall to be put up making the house a 3 bedroom again.I took James Golby with me to view the property prior to the completion of the purchase to make sure all the work could be completed within my budget and the time frame I had in mind. James gave me a few different options and recommendations on how this could be done.Since purchasing the property, James and Ben started work immediately.Their work ethic is brilliant and the quality of their work is better then I could have expected. Any complications discovered, James has not only kept me informed he has also gave me his recommendation on how to overcome such complication.To summarise: Hard working, professional, excellent communication throughout and top quality work!I am looking forward to my new family home being complete and I will post the before and after photos on here when it’s finished.

Thanks a million to James Golby Construction who resolved all of the issues around water leaking and seeping into the house through walls, roof and chimney. Finally after 40 years we have found a builder who got to the route causes and resolved them one by one. At last we’ve decorated with confidence and can leave the house without leaving buckets and towels in the lounge. The repointing from ground to flaunching looks very smart and all issues are resolved safely and effectively. James and Ben are trustworthy and reliable and I highly recommend them.

Not a great experience - invoiced £3400 for what I would say should have been about 1-2 days of work. Then went awol.The first invoice was not late being paid - it was paid after the correct invoice was provided within 7 days which is what I said would be the soonest time it could be paid.If I am honest - it required hard work and the pair of you were a bit work shy.
