Shirley is fantastic. She works in tune with the needs (and limitations) of your body and has been great for injury recovery as well as course correcting long term issues. I love every session and look forward to continuing to work with her. Absolutely recommend her!

Shirley is a wonderful teacher, I've been practicing Gyrotonic for over a decade in many different countries and cities, Shirley is one of the best teachers I've had the pleasure to work with.The studio is a wonderful calm environment (as you'll be the only student) and Shirley works closely with you to understand what you are looking to achieve and tailors the sessions to focus on you needs.I can't recommend Shirley enough, whether you are a beginner looking to start or transitioning from pilates or whether you have been practicing Gyrotonic for many years.

Shirley has been an absolute Godsend. Having suffered over the past couple of years with back and shoulder issues I feel incredibly fortunate that a good friend recommended body mindfulness.Shirley has the ability to identify where and why I have issues and more important she has the patience and skill to show me how to mobilise and work on these problems.Working at first on a one-to-one basis with Shirley (and now continuing in a class) I have had the opportunity and support in attempting to right the wrongs of many years and give long-term solutions.With a medical background I can't be the easiest person to teach but Shirley is happy to explain with an anatomy app her thoughts and ideas Re treatment exercise.Shirleys support is Much Appreciated.

Shirley is a gem of a find. Her knowledge of the structure of the body is so helpful in focusing in to fix the problem area. Her classes introduce plenty of variety which makes me look forward to them knowing I will be walking out stronger and more in tune with my body than when I walked in. The studio is a lovely environment and the bespoke exercises really make me feel she hears and reacts correctly to what I need.

In my initial consultation, she was able to pinpoint some problem ares and start to work on corrective exercises. What an Improvement and What a Find!!!Shirley is guiding me through an improvement of my body awareness and core strengthening with her Nordic Body Kinetics programme.I am delighted with the improvements in both my posture and my gait. I saw an improvement even after our initial session and I’m continuing to improve week by week.Shirley listens, observes and then demonstrates exercises which with practice are immensely helpful.Her studio is calm, tranquil and relaxing which really helps you to focus.

I have been exercising with Shirley for over six years and I appreciate all the benefits of looking well from the huge improvement in my posture and walking technique. More importantly, the exercises with Shirley have noticeably affected my fundamental physique and core strength - this is where Shirley excels. She is also deeply knowledgeable when dealing with specific strains or injuries, and she is very attentive when it comes to helping people.The ambience of the studio is always raised up with energetic music or completely toned down once the session finishes for a relaxing and mindful wind down. I do miss the classes.
