Active Dog Bute

Excellent service. Dogs loved their walks and stay with Lucien. Thoroughly recommend him. Very reasonable price for the dog walks and stay.

Lucian delivers a 5 star service Brodie loves his active walks and has a real trust in Lucian. Can’t recommend this service enough. Brodie was anxious and nervous around people but not with Lucian who gained his trust quickly.

We met Lucek in September 2022 when visiting Isle of Bute on a vacation. He was very friendly and helpful hence we felt comfortable about asking him to look after our dog, Maya.Maya is an Alaskan Malamute so a level confidence and experience is needed and there were no issues at all! Lucek walked her with no difficulty and she clearly had a great time so we asked if Lucek could keep her for the night which he was happy to do.I would definitely recommend Lucek and we will use him every time we are on the island especially now that we have our own holiday appartement there.You can leave your dog with him with ease of mind and the dog is guaranteed to get an appropriate exercise for the breed and will be looked after like they are a member of the family!

Whilst roadtripping around Scotland in our campervan, we visited the Isle of Bute for a wedding. We needed over night dog sitting for our French Bulldog Frankie whilst we were at the wedding. Lucian was great, we had a zoom call in advance and he met us on the island the day before the wedding to get to know Frankie and us. This was great as it was the first time we had left Frankie with someone new, and he really understood how important our fur baby is and made us feel more than comfortable. Lucian gave us many photo pup-dates throughout the day and was really welcoming, Frankie seemed to have a great time and got all the walks and cuddles she wanted. Would highly recommend, thanks!

Sally was well looked after. Luk sent us photos of her stay and she certainly looked like she was having fun. Highly recommend the service.

Lucian from Active Dog Bute has looked after my dog Penny on a number of occasions and was absolutely fabulous each time. He is reliable and always turns up right on time. He cares deeply about animals and ensured that Penny got some proper exercise in the wonderful Bute countryside. Would recommend him highly.
