This was one of three sculptures commissioned by the District Council in 1997 to depict nature and creatures in and around the River Wye. All three works were created by renowned local sculptor Walenty Pytel.This sculpture is of three Mallard ducks, coming in to land on the water. The other two are of two swans, located a little further down the river, and leaping salmon, outside the Man of Ross pub.All three sculptures are very well crafted and are a delightful addition to the area.
