We at Winston Churchill Venison (based in Scotland) trade at two events in England each year- the Stalking Show at Stafford and Burghley Horse Trials at Stamford. We take our own meats with us but source all other goods (cheese, onions, rolls, salads, sauces etc, etc from Masons Foodservices at Oadby... they deliver to us at each event. We can highly recommend them - their goods and service is second to none.... fantastic!!Winston Churchill Venison team!!

I have given my business to Mason since past 2 yearsTo my disappointment I received a box of rotten eggs . I complained about these eggs that I received which were rotten. But was made to feel that no other customers have complained. I was prepared for them to check their eggs but I couldn’t preserve these eggs in my cafe as they were stinking and I had to follow food and hygiene guidelines and therefore binned them taking photos for their evidence which Mason representative were not interested.This happened on two occasions , and that’s when I decided not to order any eggs from them.We continued giving Mason our business on other product lines.I gave them my business thinking they have newly started in our area and everyone needs a chance so I tried them out by ordering few products with Mason. I already have other suppliers who I have known for 11 years.After a lot of persuasion from their sales rep we decided to buy bacon from Mason .First few orders were okayBut it all went wrong when I received an order from them the price of all the products on my delivery was increased without my knowledge. The sales rep didn’t have the decency to inform me about the price increase even after I was speaking to him regularly. I was also disappointed to know that I could order only a pack (1) of bacon as the country is running short of bacon.This bacon is for my cafe not home . It was a joke . I returned the whole order on delivery.I called my other reliable suppliers and they thought it was bizarre as they had enough stock of bacon and had not heard of any shortage of Bacon.I gave Mason my business and to receive an appalling service was unacceptable.What’s worse is that they know they have done something wrong but they would never apologise.I am glad I left Mason and have Learnt my lesson always stay loyal with the supplier you know who look after you who delivers the best pork sausages with 65% pork and one of the best bacon not forgetting a high range of cakes etc and much cheaper than MasonI regret giving my business to Mason, to receive an appalling service not on one occasions but on numerous occasions was an insult.I had to give this review as to date I have not received an apology for the poor service and would request Masons representative not to contact me as you are not welcome to my cafe so please do not visit us as you know very well this is true and it’s to late to apologise.

We have used Mason foods for 16 years here at Cafe Two Ten! Always really reliable and happy to help.The online ordering is convenient and great for getting a better price.Having our deliveries early in the morning works really well for us and Masons always accommodate this.Ash is always on hand to sort out any issues we have quickly and efficiently, and the customer service team are always happy to help when we give them a call.Highly recommend!
