MD Love Nails Bridgend

I can't recommend the luxury pedicure enough. It's an hour of pure bliss. A lovely clean salon, with amazing staff that make you feel really welcome. A lovely hour of pampering and sheer relaxation.

I would give no stars if possible. My daughter has had a very painful experience in this nail bar. During a pedicure, her foot was sliced causing it to bleed profusely. This required the attention of her friend, a qualified nurse, to stem blood flow and bandage. Not only did she have to buy special plasters but the staff still had the audacity to charge her for the pedicure. Disgusting!

I’ll give 3 stars purely because the nails were done amazingly. But I’m disappointed and disgusted with the lady that done them for me . Her attitude stinks, she had an attitude with me because she released my hands so unexpected that one nail got a little scratched and she acted like a child that she needs to just do her job and correct it. Her colleague, a guy seem very nice and patient with the ladies he had while I was there but she was just rude and I’ll not go there again just because of her. I didn’t felt welcomed and if she doesn’t change her attitude she will lose a lot more clients. It’s a shame because the place is nice and the execution of the nails are exactly how you want to be. But I’ll not pay 40 plus tips if she’s acting like a spoiled child , throwing tantrums for her own mistakes.

Brilliant staff, so friendly and inviting! Even had a complimentary drink whilst treating myself to a fantastic pedicure and lovely seat massage too. I will be returning very soon!

I have never had such an uncomfortable experience getting my nails done. At first , the woman was lovely, asking me how I was and if I wanted anything to drink etc. I showed her a photo of what I liked and she agreed to do it. The photo was like blue chrome nails and that is not at all what I got. I asked to cut them shorter and the woman insisted for me to have them at a long length. I understand they need to give directions for where your hands need to be placed, but I was pushed and shoved around continuously. I accidentally nicked one of my nail and it took some of the varnish off and she said “You! Careful” in such a rude and condescending tone. As she blatantly rolled her eyes, I felt extremely uncomfortable while being in this environment. After she finished my nails (which didn’t look anything like I wanted, even though I politely reminded her a couple of times that I wanted chrome), she rushes off the chair and demanded “29 pounds”. As I was obviously getting my money out of my purse, she kept shouting “29 pounds!”. I told her “I got a 6 pound off voucher” that I was struggling to get out of my purse due to the obscene length of my nails. And she shouted “yes I know, 29 pounds please!” in such a rude tone. I felt awful after leaving the MD love nails and will not go back there again. I would never wish this experience on anyone.

Had infills and pedicure, nails look amazing, the pedicure so relaxing and the massage chair. Will definitely be back, thank you!

The staff were really lovely and welcoming. I had a free complimentary cocktail which was very tasty - as it was their opening week. Everyone having their nails done we’re happy. Thank you - I’ll be back.
