best in the area - really got me out of a pickle

As a relatively new customer I have to sadly report that this supplier does not provide a consistent quality. I have now received 7 bulk loads, two of which were poorly mixed and contained football sized balls of dry mix. On both occasions the screed couldn’t be tamped until the balls were manually broken up, which required manually breaking them up. On both occasions the quality was pointed out to the driver and quickly followed up with complaints to the Hanson offices. When challenged about the two loads of off quality and a request for some contribution to the lost contractor time, the management were evasive and demanded photos. They also pointed out that as the load was not rejected there was nothing that they would do to contribute. Who in there right mind would reject 20 tons of liquid mix which is lying in position.I certainly will not deal with them again. Neither will my contractorI think that this supplier have a lot to learn about customer relationships
