Tried Almost Famous after reading great reviews. I also asked my hotel receptionist about it and she recommended it as well. I was honestly so excited to try these burgers. I ended up ordering the Unabomber. It’s only served at the NQ location, the mix of reg fries and sweet potato fries and a draught beer. I don’t know if it’s just me but the burger was bland even after it was loaded with a lot of condiments. The mix of fries had more potato fries than the sweet potato fries. I can say that the beer and service were excellent! I wouldn’t give this place a completely bad review, I will just say it wasn’t for me. Oh and it wasn’t cheap! For all 3 items I paid 31€. I would expect more of a burger if I’m paying that much for it

Great menu options and great service. We had the Famous burger, Unabomber and Pizza fries which were all delicious. Thank you Sully for providing an amazing and friendly service, and making top food recommendations. Would recommend this restaurant for a fun and friendly atmosphere, and would definitely come again!

Mainly been visiting the location at the Great Northern but stopped off at their new location in the Northern Quater (just further down the street from where they used to be) and had a 10/10 meal as usual.Almost famous really do it right with the burgers and loaded fries they put together, I gave the Unabomer a go which was really nice but think the triple nom may still be my fav and the phoenix fries which are the best thing since sliced bread.You'll find American retro themed decor and friendly Hip staff and you actually get table service as apposed to ordering from an app (which I personally hate!) And you can reserve tables online ahead of time.They've also got outdoor seating laid on dry days.If you haven't been make sure you give them a try or if you've got that dutty burger craving then go fill ya boots!

I was expecting a lot from the reviews. The food was nice but nothing special. I've tried a lot of vegan burgers whilst out and about and this chick'n one didn't stand out for me. However, everything was hot and well cooked. I enjoyed the seasoning on the chips. The chips were better than the burger in my opinion. The vegan brioche bun was nice as these can sometimes be dry.Service was friendly and prompt. The place was clean and spacious.

Bangers! So damn delicious!!One of the best burgers I have had in Manchester.Even after delivery the food was still hot and the waffle fries were still crispy!The second burger (pulled pork i think) was a little too saucy, i would just order the pulled pork waffle fries and get another burger next time. The wings had a kick and goes well with the meal.

Visiting Manchester and thought we’d give this place a try. The food and service was incredible. Dan was very welcoming and really informative when it came to the menu. Would 100% go again.

Honestly people, this place is out of this world. You order one cocktail and you get MORE THAN ENOUGH for at least two people. It's definitely not needed to go here at happy hour. The service is insane, they're very happy and they furniture looks very clean and amazing. I'll never forget this :)

Food was great, and I mean great! Highly recommend the Phoenix burger and pizza fries.The lady on the bar was also great too and very personable. Unfortunately the rest of the staff didn't seem to want to do anything. We were left stood at the door for ages whilst staff just walked past and didn't acknowledge us. Even a We will be with you shortly" would have been a good start. Once we were seated
