I quite like this place and it's a useful local business worthy of support. Only problem?..... Since I don't use it that often I'm not entirely sure where to find things and when you ask for help they aim pointlessly rather than get out from behind the till and help you.

some staff great help. others lazy and give you the feeling they cant be arsed. To the guys that do help and the owner. Thanks.

Local hardware shop, everything you'd expect inc wood, fence panels etc. Free local delivery. Good service.

I've used St Annes Timber for many years. Always helpful staff, especially for someone like me, dabbles with a bit of DIY and not really sure of all the technical term etc!Cut wood to order, have plenty of items in stock, what they don't have they will try tjier hardest to source and order!No problems recommending at all!!

Loads of different stuff sold here, plus all the staff are so friendly and helpful! I'm not very sure about this stuff so wasn't 100% what I was after but they helped me and I ended up with exactly what I needed!

FANTASTIC SERVICE today from St Anne's Timber. I emailed an order for 72 pieces of wood cut to certain length at 7.30 this morning and it was delivered bundled up less than two hours later! Another strong argument for shopping locally! Personal service, nothing too much trouble. Well done Cheryl/Paul & the team.

This is such a great shop. Everyone trade or public use it and the chaps inside are very helpful.It's been sadly missed as due to the temporary Covid19 related closure but it's open again now...so Yah!!Good to see you back ....I'll just pop round for a some paint!

Called first at 10:20am to get advice on needing just one panel. After a quick photo exchange via text to ensure I had the right one, I called back to pay over the phone. Panel arrived at 10:45am! IMMENSE service!! Top quality, very friendly team, absolutely superb service and won't ever go anywhere else! Thank you.

This shop LOOKS USEFUL it advertises as open - but it now looks like they have closed down! Real shame to have to put bad review here. When they did open, they were the most helpful shop you could want.My complaint is that they are too strict on Covid regs!After this shop re-opened, I shopped there many times. Very helpful service from Paul and all his staff. This shop is a real boon to the handyman, as well as the tradesman, as their stock is so comprehensive. They even sold me some finishing plaster when all others failed.Can do 'click and collect' there.must add ANOTHER THANK YOU. Went in needing an odd screw for my cooker door. Paul found the correct thread and head THEN CUT TO LENGTH for me as well. YOU WONT GET THAT SERVICE ANYWHERE ELSE!!
