Condor Ferries Freight

We found Condor really good again, good comms with texts and emails of service updates. We had a rough crossing but the cabin was great to help ease the pain!! Attached a few photos as we departed Portsmouth.

Despite poor service, dated ships and numerous cancellations I still used them. Then they decided that as a sales rep I needed to pay their freight rates which are double the already expensive tourist rates they were charging. One bonus being that I found out how much quicker, cheaper and convenient the airlines were so I now fly.

All staff ect very polite and helpful, clean and tidy place

Due to lockdown, there were only 6 cars bound for Guernsey and 3 for Jersey, therefore there weren't many passengers at all. I felt very safe as the staff were forever cleaning surfaces, and there's plenty of sanitizer around the ship. I asked to go down to the car deck to visit the puppy I was transporting over, there was always a staff member available to escort me. You will have to wear your face mask when walking around the ship, the only exception is if eating or drinking. The food was very hot and tasty and our cabin was very clean.

Comfy crossing, staff and facilities are good, but the one thing you can always be sure of is a late arrival. Guaranteed!

Weekly we deliver cars for freight shipping to condor and the team of lads who check the cars in are excellent as well as the team in the office who are always busy but I sometimes forget to print my shipping notes and they put down what they’re doing to print them out.

The staff was fantastic. It's was a great experience. If you can go to the top deck at night, wow just wow.

Service is great IF you can book it in the first place!You can't book their freight service online with them, when you complete the form on their website nobody calls you back.When you call them there is often nobody to answer the phone and it rings 20-30 times then cuts you off.The staff on the phone are actually all great and really efficient and helpful if you can speak to them but getting to talk to one of them in the first place is an almost impossible task.This can be incredibly frustrating when there is not another option to get vans to Guernsey.Come on Condor stop doing you staff a disservice and provide them with a better booking system!
