Simon serviced boiler, fixed leaky radiator and fitted new tap, very efficient, personable, sorted all problems out quickly, reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

My boiler broke down one morning just before the Easter break. Simon was able to come over that afternoon, diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes, went to the supplier to pick up the part and installed it. All done in less than 2 hours. And he was cheerful and charming. And he rang next morning to check the boiler was still working OK.Brilliant, I recommend unreservedly.

I've used Simon on a number of occasions for boiler installations and hearing system repairs and can't recommend highly enough. Honest, reliable and efficient.

We used Urban Gas Fitters to install 2 new radiators and investigate some other issues with the heating system. Simon recommended the perfect style we wanted to suit our interior decor and had them installed within 10 days of our first conversation. We also no longer have the weird noises running through our walls! Very efficient and polite service throughout and good value too. Would recommend others.

Simon removed and refitted 2 radiators and fitted 2 new cast iron radiators for us. His work was professional and tidy. He was responsive and very helpful. He was able to get us replacement valves urgently and even returned to fit them on a Sunday. I would recommend him and definitely use again. Thank you

Our boiler broke down a day before Christmas Eve, and we called Simon for his service in that evening. Although it's holiday time, he remained very responsive - got the right boiler for us (local shops was closed) and installed it ASAP. There were couple glitches (obviously not his problem) - he came back immediately to help get everything sorted. The whole process is professional and easy with his help. We feel very lucky to have him around the neighbourhood. Definitely recommend his service.

DO NOT USE - Simon Gardner trading as Urban Gas Fitters came to replace my bath, sink and toilet and radiator. PLEASE do not use him or this company. His work was carried out dangerously and a sink HE fitted to the wall came off within hours, causing flood damage and a broken unit and sink. That can be replaced ...I am just terrified that the sink could have fallen and landed on someone (a child - god forbid) and caused serious if not life threatening damage. He blamed me for changing the sink and asking for the sink to be repositioned slightly but HE DID NOT at any time advise me that this would not be possible due to the battens not being able to still support a change of sink/repositioning. The wall fixings he used were also not able to take the unit - even after we specifically asked him if he was using adequate ones to support the unit. HE is the plumber/installer, not me, and he should have realised this - got photos! and not continued to install - he only wanted his money! You should see how he fitted the pipework for the radiator - like spaghetti junction. Happy for anyone to contact me if you want photographic evidence of this or any of the other work he did not complete to a satisfactory condition. Amanda
