Totally Driven

After performing thorough search and comparisons, we decided to contract their services to and from central London from Heathrow. Glad we did. They were early to meet us at terminal 5, and punctual to pick us up at our hotel. Their rates are reasonable and competitive. The drivers were pleasant and accommodating with clean vehicles. They also provide a tech savvy tracking system for your phone to track the progress of your driver arriving at your pickup point. I will use them again without hesitation when returning to London and have already recommended them to two of our friends.

The car was good, big enough and the driver helpful, my only complaint was the driver was late, I booked it for a set time as I know how long it takes me to get through an airport. Despite, getting warnings about extra charges if we were late, we were there on time, the company thought it knew better and scheduled the driver to be a certain time after the plane landed.I ended up making calls on my overseas phone when I landed to track down the cab. If I want 8.00 pm then it is my issue if things are late, we could have spent 30 minutes having a coffee instead of chasing around for the taxi.

Excellent service from Gatwick Airport to central London. Booked online, had some issues with the process which had to be cleared up after a telephone call. Was met promptly by the driver and had a smooth drive to my hotel. Driver was very courteous and efficient and graciously helped with my bags.I will definitely use them again and recommend to others

i found this company whilst searching for airport taxis and found them to be the cheapest. i ordered an airport pickup via the website and prepaid. it was easy to do and confirmed immediately by email. the driver meets you at arrivals so no wandering around trying to find your cab. new customers also receive a 15% discount. communication with totally driven was good and they monitor flight for delays. The driver was 5 mins late (hence the 4 stars), but they did call me to assure me that he was on his way. overall i would recommend using this cab company.

This weekend was the second time I book with this company. Both times they were on time, the drivers were very helpful, very kind and polite. The cars were very clean, and the trip was very pleasant and on time. I can only totally recommend this company, as after checking the prices on few different companies, I also noticed that it is the best price you can get.On the first trip we booked two ways trip from Gatwick for four persons. The car was a Ford Cmax, and the driver waited for us in the airport (and in the hotel on the return), helped us with the luggage and told us a lot of things about London. On the second trip we were a group of 7, so we booked a van (Mercedes) and they provided also a child seat. Our plane had to return to airport due to technical difficulties, so we had to change airplane which caused a two hours delay. I called the help number to inform them. The driver waited for us, no charge, and he was also especially helpful and kind. Same story on the return trip.The only thing I can recommend to future clients is that you should calculate very well the trip. On arrival you should ask the pickup about half an hour after the scheduled arrival time. On return trips to the airport you have to calculate the trip itself (60 min up to 1 ½ hours) plus the 2 hours before departure that is the standard time you need to go to the airport. That makes at least three hours before departure, the time of the pickup from London city. This should be actually more as the traffic, or the weather is always unknown, and the security measures in all UK airports produce a lot of ques.I totally recommend Totally driven.

Please avoid. We had booked a minivan, and they sent us a prius instead, which was much cheaper to book in the first place. Customer service was not helpful and kept arguing that a prius is indeed a minivan which is ridiculous. It could not fit the 4 suitcases in the back, as advertised and we had to travel with luggage in rhe cabin.We were travelling for 24 hours with a child and completely exhausted. It is an easy target for such scams, they send a smaller car and we can wither wait hours for a replacement or get home in whatever cramped conditions available. Driver was not helpful once heard our argument with the customer service. Basically dumped our luggage and said I'm done

Attractive prices but really bad service. To be avoided!!!! I've used this company a number of times and though I gave them the benefits of the doubt on a number of occasions I will never use them again. Issues including a driver telling us he has arrived at the airport whilst he clearly wasn't. He stated that he got the number of the terminal wrong whilst it was clearly stated on the booking but also he confirmed the right terminal to us as we landed. Last time a driver called us to tell he would pick us up an hour before scheduled pick-up time as there was major accident on the road. We checked on Waze, Google Maps and other websites and it indicated nothing at all but we thought we wouldn't take the risk but we clearly had to rush to get ready on time with the children. As expected traffic was very smooth but it turned out that the driver had in fact someone else to pick up at the airport hence why he wanted to be there earlie rbut obivosuly we had to spend 3 hours and 30 minutes at the airport without the opportunity to check-in luggage as it was way too early. Last but not least the last issue we had was Totally Driven getting a pick up wrong at the airport on the booking confirmation which we cancelled straight away on the basis we got told we would be refunded minus a service fee (though we called a minute after receiving the confirmation to amend and they would still charge £8 for that). It took more than a month and 8 phone calls to eventually got the refund. Whilst we were initially told that the refund was initiated but then there were some technical delays, it turned out to be a lie as we then got told they were questioning that we were due a refund at all despite a manager clearly telling us so when we decided to cancel. We are really understanding people but here there has been a big serie of wrongdoings and we we would never be using Totally Driven again.I was almost forgetting but their rating reviews on their website is totally flawed! We obviously put a bad review in line with our several bad experiences but it never made it to their review page and they are showing this incredible 98% satisfaction rate which is another big lie!

I am a big fan of Totally Driven and I am using it on a frequent basis for business or personal transfers to the airport. It is very easy to book and allows to add waiting minutes for free so it is hassle-free to schedule your taxi waiting for you on your arrival.I had an excellent experience with Taxi Driven. I had booked a taxi for an early morning transfer from my house to the London City airport. I have got a call from the driver that was waiting for me on-time. He was very friendly, helped me with the luggages and event stopped the taxi for me to check if I had the passport with me. The car was also clean and very comfortable.I would definitely recommend Totally Driven, have used their service quite a few times and never had a single bad experience

I searched many ways of transporting my family of 7 while in UK and Totally Driven was the best on price. When it came to their service I was totally pleased. They arrived on time every time with a wonderful car and driver. I highly recommend them to all my friends traveling to the UK

Be prepared to be ripped off when you use their discount codes. I booked a journey to Heathrow Airport yesterday, with a discount code. They phoned me after my booking to confirm the journey yesterday and everything seemed OK. My trip was supposed to be at 8am this morning, they phoned me at 7.15 am only to inform me about a mechanical problem in my driver's car and they offered me another service for the same trip for £10 more. This happened to me once more with another minicab company. I guess this is what they do. They think that you'd be desperate enough not to miss your flight and accept their higher offer. I did not. I arranged a journey with another company.When I told the guy who was talking to me that I believed this was their regular practice to rip off their passengers, he could not deny it. When I asked him to be honest about the issue and how he would feel in a situation like this, he again could not say anything. I understood that this was the company's policy and the customer service guy could not do anything about it.So, when you come across with a broken car issue just one hour before your booked trip, understand that they are trying to rip you off, or they've already found another passenger who pays more and they want to cancel your booking. Either way, this is not a good practice, this is a disgrace. If you ever come across with such an issue, do not accept their new offers. Just call other minicab companies, the price that you'll pay will be the same with their new offers anyway. Shame.
