Horrible place to live in, receptionist staff are very rude. The room i was allocated to had holes on the ceiling. The water from the shower smells a lot like chlorine and can cause severe damage to your hair. The rooms have poor insulation and get really hot especially during the summer and opening your window won't even make a difference. Some of the blinds don't even close properly so light can get in at night making it difficult to sleep.

When I was there, I had no control over the heating so in the winter when I needed the heating it would be off at times and when I no longer needed it, it was on . In the summer my heating was on and my rooom was HOT. No body did a angle thing about it and I had to sleep at my friends place because it was unbearable. Other than that it’s quite nice, I love the bathroom , my space was very nice for a good price 145 pw for a super deluxe. Over all experience 6/10. Minus the heating incident and two two minor situations.

I stayed in a student lodge for two years in a different room. When i moved in there was bird poo all over the kitchen. My first room was on the top floor and was so hot and unbearable in summer, forcing me to go home early for summer. Several silverfish were in the bathroom and bedroom, and I once found one in my bed. Player Street has poor security. There was once a random man in my kitchen and eating my food, and on more than one occasion, there were people who didn’t live on the property doing drugs in the foyer. The security at 62 Player Street is AWFUL! The bathroom sink has poor drainage, and if you report an issue, expect they won't do anything until the 5th time you ask. The flat of 7 kitchens was not sufficient for seven people and only had three chairs. Where is the logic? In my second year of staying there, I lived in a flat on the second floor, which was relatively better. The issue of silverfish was still present, and there were often inconsistencies with the water temperature. The kitchen didn’t have enough seats for all my flatmates, and the seats were pealing. The reception staff aren’t very useful and lost one of my parcels for about three months and then randomly found it when I was collecting a different parcel. The only good receptionist is the white guy in the purple shirtLastly, I would like to say beware, they will steal your deposits. I got charged for a mark on my desk before I moved in, yet when I moved out, they deducted £30 from my deposit. We went back and forth, and I couldn’t be bothered to dispute it further, but they are thieves! All in all, my time there wasn’t completely bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The main perks are that it is opposite Aldi, the bathroom is nice, that's it.

A lovely safe, secure and friendly place for students to live. The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The building is beautiful and the facilities excellent. I highly recommend

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MOVING HERE AT ALLThis place is honestly terrible in terms of customer service and support.I had stayed here for my 2nd year of study and I had a leaking ceiling for about 6months while I requested to have the issue sorted again and again with no immediate response.Your parcels will go missing for about 4 months and then randomly reappear. They will randomly place you in rooms with wet room bathrooms (disabled bathrooms) without informing you when you booked a room with a normal furnished bathroom. They will steal your deposit for issues that were there when you already moved in.And, lastly, their receptionists and head office are useless 99% of the time and will just lie to you.The rooms are not that bad at all but just pray you don’t have any issues in your room or in general otherwise you’re in for a treat.

I have been with student lodge for more than 2.5 years and counting. The perfect place for a postgraduate student to live. All the universities, supermarkets and services are very close. 10 mins away from the city centre. And the staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Best student accommodation in Nottingham. Spacious room, comfortable bed and best fittings they have been used. I'm happy about their 24/7 digitalised security system.

I have lived here last year and going to stay on this coming year. Peter was very honest and helpfull during viewings. The rooms are spacious and clean. Some times they do breakfast, which is a plus.

I really liked this accommodation. The student lodge team are perfect, an atmosphere here is very nice and friendly. My room was very comfortable and modern, an equipment in my room worked well and also I had a great view from the room
