Macari's Gelateria

An ice cream/sorbet lovers heaven. So many flavours to choose from and so many ways to have it served. Myself and my friend chose to have ours on a warm waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream and we weren’t disappointed. Already checked out other options for our next visit….and there will be plenty of visits as so many flavours to try out. A lovely time spent in a friendly, bright, clean environment with the added bonus of a clean toilet room with a baby changing area.

Lovely gelato parlour. The lotus biscoff gelato was delicious. They were so busy on a boiling hot Saturday afternoon but the staff did so well and were super friendly. Will be back!

Amazing place with brilliant, friendly staff! Such a fantastic range of flavours too! I have to say I have never tasted anything like the pistachio gelato it was out of this world!! We can’t wait to go back already:)

I was very excited about visiting Macari's as I love gelato. How disappointed was l!Lets start with the service they took part of my order then randomly walked off. Someone else then took the rest of my order. After I paid, they realised they didn't have one of the items I ordered and couldn't figure out how to refund it and had to take the money out of the tips jar to refund me.Secondly, I ordered waffles and gelato for £7. The waffle was not fresh but out of a packet, probably cost about 50p to buy. I ordered a scoop of white chocolate and a scoop of strawberry cheese gelato. The scoops were tiny and had no flavour.This place was clean and had a nice decor, but they should have spent more time focusing on the quality of what they sell rather than what the place looked like.Lots of better places to visit, will not be returning

Proper gelato!Place was very busy near close but we were served quickly and with a smile.Gelato was delicious, Strawberry was up there with the best I've had, and the rum and raisin was beautifully rummy.Will be visiting again. Grazie mille!

A little slice of Italy in the Heatons, what an amazing place this is for your ice cream needs as well as coffee, cakes and sweet treats. A must if you love locally or passing through! The gelato is creamy and delicious with enough flavours to keep your taste buds busy for the rest of the year. The staff were super friendly and smiley, a really warm welcome on the opening day. They’ve also done a cracking job on the interior too, lots of space for all with no issues for accessibility (easy peasy for wheelchairs) perfectly suited for all. Best of luck to Macari’s!
