Had a quick overnight stay here. Staff super friendly, helpful and professional on arrival. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and well appointed overall. Wi-Fi worked well too. Didn't get a chance to sample drinks/food from the pub but the bar/restaurant area looked clean, well laid out and a nice atmosphere when I went through.

Staying locally and this is the best pub in the area by miles. 6 real ales on hand pump, some local and a few further afield. Lovely ambience with loads of old brewery memorabilia and pump clips. I recommend the beef and mushroom pie with proper shortcrust pastry. A real gem of a pub that you don’t see much of these days.

Lovely family pub. Had a great 3 night stay to see some nearby family. The room was comfortable, clean and homely. Staff were all brilliant, the food was great and brilliant selection of beer & wine. Will be back!

We had a good bowl of soup here. The inside is interesting and quirky. The outside is warm, sunny and functional. There is off street parking.

The entrance door didn't close properly which made me nervous all night. Out room backed onto all of the on the roof fans so had white noise all night. Breakfast wasn't served until 8.30am. I had to get to work and my daughter was swimming all day and had to leave without any breakfast.

Lovely food and not too expensive. Definitely value for money. Good choice of beers. Highly recommended after my first ever visit on 23/09/23

Do not accept room 1, the boiler is in the cupboard next to the room and runs 24/7 making a loud droning noise. When we arrived someone was being sectioned at the bar, breakfast needs to be ordered the night before and doesn’t start until 08.30 which is inconvenient for anybody working. Chaotic. If you’re a fan of faulty towers and sleep deprivation this is the place for you!!

We had very good food: salad with haloumi cheese, parsnip soup ( amazing) and sauteed shrimp. Cold beer and great waitress. Thank you all for the good time

Recently attended the British Motor Show for 5 days as a trader, staying at a another local pub in Bramley, which did not do food in the evening. We tried the Jolly Farmer and ate hear for three of our four nights. It would have been four, but they could not fit us in on one night!Fabulous food, good beers and excellent service. A lovely country pub which we would highly recommend.
