An absolute gem in Central Glasgow! The entrance hides a lovely open dining area which creates an authentic feeling experience. The staff are very friendly and engaging and keen to share their culture and heritage. The food itself is outstanding, Traditionally prepared and presented. Get ready to embrace using your hands to eat, sharing with your dining companions. Very highly recommended!

Highly recommend. Lovely staff, very tasty vegan platters. Great value for money.I suppose the atmosphere could be better with a bit more decorations and/or objects in the room but it did not bother me that much, lovely homely anyway

Feels like a bit of a hidden gem. Restaurant is up the stairs so it easy to miss just looking from the street. Food is absolutely fantastic, amazing flavours and very unique cuisine - can't think of another place in Glasgow that does this type of East African food. You are encouraged to eat with your hands by tearing off pieces of flatbread and scooping up curry / stew / rice - makes for nice social eating experience. Service was great and very friendly and they have a great range of vegan and vegetarian options. We got the small vegan sharing platter for £13 - insanely good value as you get a selection of each curry and the injera (pancake / flatbread). Honestly we probably could've just had this to share and been satisfied but also got another curry on the side and some lentil sambusa. Ended up taking about half home with us but everything was so delicious.

This is a bit of a hidden gem! It doesn't look anything special from outside but it's actually a big restaurant serving very tasty Ethiopian food! Really enjoyed the food and the experience. Eating with our hands was new to us and it was definitely messy but fun and enjoyable. We tried some African beers which were also very nice. The veggie platter was great, big flavours and big portions for a great price.

So nice for Scotland to have a place serving Ethiopian food as nice as this. Service, decor and atmosphere is lovely once you're inside. Really reasonable prices too and lovely service from Daniel today. Will definitely be back and recommending to others:)

I’ve been here twice now and both times the experience was just top notch. I had the Alicha and vegetarian sambusas the first time, which were absolutely delicious and very generously portioned, as well as reasonably priced. The second time I came with my friends and had the vegan platter, and the Ful. The portion size of the platter was perfect for five people, and every different stew and wat was really unique so tasty. We also had the traditional coffee - an unmissable way to end the meal.I can’t recommend this place enough. The wait staff are so lovely - they were really friendly showed us the proper way to serve and eat the food. A must-go in Glasgow

Best Ethiopian food! Really worth trying if you are unsure of this new style of food to Glasgow. The platter was excellent, allowing us to try many different dishes off of a large pancake (Injera). Everything was delicous and the service was excellent. Good selection of beers from across Africa too!To note that the Injera are not gluten free but this can be arranged if you phone ahead.
