Henley Canoe Hire

We had a great time as part of our annual Dads and Kids Camping Trip. The staff are so patient and helpful. The river is lovely and ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

I lost 30 pounds!! Booked months ago and unfortunately coincided with henley regatta. Called 7x and emailed 3x to try and change (on different days) and no response. It wasn't on because of the races and I then later received an automated email saying thank you for coming. I've still not received any direct response, this was a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure whether they are running a con business. BUYER BEWARE.

Great kayak hire for my son and I. Didn't book in advance just turned up, but still had to use their website, but that was easy enough. The chap was very friendly and helpful, providing some instruction for my son and advice for me as to how to navigate the busy Henley river traffic. The location is fantastic, we only had an hour hire but because there is some much riverside activity in Henley there's a lot to see from the river. The lock, the bridge and town centre, the rowing centre and the expensive riverside houses and boats. Despite the busy traffic it's seems very safe with everything happening at a leisurely speed. My son is 11 and it was a great experience, made all the better by the support from the staff.

Amazing Canoe hire place. Always accommodating, had to reschedule a few times but they were always patient and understanding.A fantastic day out activity! Highly recommended!

We hired a canoe for 3 hours for a trip up to Wargrave. Ethan helped to get us kitted out and was very helpful with advice with information about the river code, but also where the pub was. He was also very professional and courteous, as well as helping us in to the canoe.

Friendly staff at the river and good kit. However, no SUPs bookable on the website (they've had them three years!). Numerous messages left and emails sent over last two weeks and no response just plain rude and inexcusable. Message left on booking as to what we actually wanted but apparently not booked to us but to others, how the staff knew that they were their SUPs I don't know. As a result we didn't end up with the SUPs we thought we had reserved. Website also claimed only one single kayak l available even before I entered the day or time. There are quite a few available when we got there.

We've used Henley Canoe hire several times now and they always deliver on value for money and great customer service. We'll be using them again for sure and would thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic service! Excellent quality equipment for an extremely reasonable price. David was incredibly helpful when explaining everything to me and my two kids. Can’t recommend Henley Canoe Hire enough! Thank you for a truly memorable day….we will definitely be back!

I have hired on two occasions from Henley Canoe Hire and both times have been great. First time was a Canadian style canoe with my daughter, the 2nd two seater Kayaks with friends. Friendly service, no delays, no long forms to fill in, life jackets for adults and kids. If you are thinking Canadian canoe make sure there are people of roughly equal ability to paddle on each side - it was quite hard work trying to go straight with my daughter paddling on the right and me on the left!
