Johnson Design Partnership

I have recently finished my third project with Johnson Design! Two at my work premises and one residential. Matt Spinks is great to work with and always has great ideas and attention to detail. Will come back for any future projects :)

We have just finished an extension to our kitchen and dealt with Matt at JDP from the beginning to the end of the project. He was very professional throughout and I would recommend anyone to use JDP for their build project.

I have now been living for two years in a house designed by Johnson Partnership. Matt Spinks and his team were our main contacts and we were delighted in the way they handled and developed our brief. The test of course is whether the house works as a home in winter and summer. This Johnson design passes the test with flying colours: the house meets all of our requirements for a comfortable, warm, airy and modern home.

Our garden is long, narrow and lies along a steep, exposed slope. It is difficult to do anything meaningful with it. Vic Johnson and Andi Clews have developed plans for our garden which should result in something very special, with stunning entrance, privacy and exciting trails throughout the garden. Can't wait to see it completed!

We wanted a small extension to the rear of our property, to create an open plan kitchen dining area. Vic and Matt helped us understand what could be achieved ticking all our wish list and more by also adding a utility and downstairs toilet creating a space we didn’t think was possible. They supported us at every stage of the project through to completion, providing their expertise every step of the way, making the whole process painless. We are really pleased with the result, turning our house into our dream family home.

We engaged Johnson Design 4 years ago at the start of a big renovation and new build project. Matt Spinks has always taken our ideas or vague notions of an idea and turned them into something innovative which is both attractive and practical. We were delighted with the final plans which went straight through planning permission, even though part of the project was a Grade 2 listed renovation. As a project manager Matt has also been first rate and thoroughly supportive. We would not hesitate to recommend Johnson Design .

A definite recommend! Matt and his team have worked tirelessly with us on our project over the last 3 years. I think it's stretched everyone and every aspect of the planning process, matt and his team have been happy to research, find and negotiate tweaks throughout to get planning permission done.

Our project was not the biggest in the whole grand scheme of things but Vic approached the design brief with enthusiasm and Matt guided us through the process, as project manager with patience and good advice. We were pleased that Johnsons Design Partnership are prepared to work on smaller projects as well as the bigger more flamboyant ones. We are really happy with the finished result.

We had plans done ready to go in case we got funding for my Gp surgery extension/ refurb from NHSE . This came very last minute with stipulations to use it before the end of the financial year . Johnson designs got all the necessary people in place and finalised quotes and palms in a very short timeframe and ensured that all conformed to NHS standards so that all went very smoothly . This involved ensuring that we could work at the site in ports cabinsThe patients love our new building and the work thankfully enabled us to function very successfully through Covid.
