We approached B.A. Boyle to request some layout changes and upgrades to our Ipswich office.We needed an existing staircase removed and reversed so that we would have improved security and workflow. Brendan attended very promptly with a positive, can-do attitude. We received a competitive quote swiftly and he was appointed for the works. The team started the project weeks ahead of schedule. We were kept informed every step of the way and the quality of the workmanship by every one of the team was outstanding.After the staircase was completed we required a fire safety corridor to be installed so that staff would have a protected route from that section of the office through to the fire escape. Brendan has a can-do attitude and worked closely with the building control inspector to ensure that all of the legal requirements were followed with a high attention to detail. Once the work was completed it passed the signoff stage without hitch due to Brendan’s diligence and hard work.Both of these projects have B.A. Boyle’s warranty attached to them, which gives us complete peace of mind should we need any future issues.We were impressed by how they:- Maintained a clean environment throughout the works- Progressed the project at a good pace, done to a high standard- Showed professionalism and friendliness- Took ownership and responsibility for the project- Have excellent attention to detailThe staff that B.A Boyle employ seem to share the same values of hard work and care in their workmanship. I chose Brendan and BA Boyle for a number of reasons - firstly the professional presentation of the quote, and the knowledge most of the trades were directly employed. Pricing was bang in the middle of 2 other quotes and I warmed to Brendan as soon as we started discussing the project - that, I felt was also a really important part of my decision to work with BA Boyle on this project which included all the trades, internal and external wall removal, steels and garage conversion - plus new flooring, boiler and bi fold doors. I am very happy with the project, it has made a huge difference to my house - and to have it decorated to a high standard on completion was a real bonus. Every single BAB tradesman that worked on my house took pride in their job, went the extra mile, was very polite and considerate. Of course there are always bumps in the road on projects like this, and when they came along the response was second to none - it got put right, no questions asked. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the entire BAB team for your project. We contacted Brendan on the recommendation of a friend, to get a quote to build our new house from the foundations up. From the very first email and call, we received exceptional service. We reached out to a number of different contractors for quotes and not only was Brendan's the most competitive, his attitude and excitement for our project was exactly what we were looking for.Brendan was brilliant. He took charge of the site from day one, working tirelessly to prepare it for foundations (despite facing huge hurdles in ground conditions, unwanted water and an alarming amount of concrete)! Despite the issues in the ground, he hit his deadlines and we were away. His calm attitude and outlook of 'it is what it is', kept us calm throughout!From then on, Brendan and his team (the nicest bunch of trades you will meet), worked efficiently, meticulously and with the due care and attention that we had hoped he would. The B A Boyle & Son team recently completed comprehensive kitchen installation/fitting in my newly renovated home.All work was completed to an exceptional standard in a very timely manner with outstanding attention to detail. We had our kitchen and garage converted into an open plan Kitchen/Diner space, and we couldn't be happier with the result!B A Boyle did the full conversion, which included knocking through walls, installing bi-fold doors, routing all of the electrics/plumbing and also fitting the new kitchen. The layout and space has transformed our home. We also had a false chimney put in place to house our TV, Fire and sound bar in the living room, which has rounded off a very modern feel to our entire downstairs area.The guys were very professional in their approach and we are very pleased with the quality of work that's been provided.

We have been very happy with the work completed by Brendan and his team. The renovation project unexpectedly escalated but the required work was completed to a high standard. The costs increased as expected especially with the current economic situation however Brendan managed to contain the costs as much as possible. We embarked upon our extension project with a certain amount of fear and trepidation given the number of trades and potential pitfalls involved, but we need not have worried. We made the decision to let Brendan and the team do everything, and hence we had no project management problems to deal with ourselves. We gave Brendan details of the fixtures and fittings we wanted, and he sourced them all according to the build schedule.The quality and finish of the work is fantastic, and we are more than happy with the result. It has totally changed the way we use the house and outside area. There were a few unforeseen problems along the way, but these were all dealt with professionally and without unduly upsetting the timescales.Brendan’s team are all craftsmen, determined to do a high-quality job. They kept the site as clean and tidy as possible, which we really appreciated as we lived at the property throughout. A temporary kitchen was built in our integral garage and work was arranged to minimise the time we were without facilities. Outstanding work from B A Boyle and Son. We needed a few jobs done in the house (plastering, paining and plumbing work) and Brendan was able to get his team together quickly and effectively. Great work from all those involved and survive was provided in a timely manner.Highly recommend to anyone needing work done to their home. So, after reading in the local press about BA Boyle & Son in line for an award for their work and customer service (which I can now vouch for), I decided it was time to get rid of the manky tin shed I'd been struggling with for years.In addition, i wanted to block off the open space between an existing structure and the new shed - and to provide a rain cover at the opposite end of the decking.The old shed was cleared away leaving a concrete pad onto which Noel (the carpenter) created a bespoke man cave that has way in excess passed my expectations.The extension to the existing decking roof at either end has proven to do its intended job perfectly.Thoroughly recommended. Great service, (Noel especially) great company.

Used B A Boyle for the first time to have some heavy doors installed in Ipswich. The company was recommended to us by a contactor and we will definitely be recommending them in future. From start to finish we received excellent customer service and the quality of the workmanship is faultless.
