The music box is super duper small, there is very little room to do much of anything, playing guitars or otherwise. Most of the guitars are basically inaccessible because of how crowded and small this shop is. The guy who works there seemed fine but disinterested. I was really expecting more out of this shop...

Helped young cousin to find her first guitar and we found a little pre loved gem strat (not in the pic) at a good price here. A true no-nonsense gentleman at the counter helped. Highly recommended.

went in for a browse for my first guitar and the owner was really helpful and assisted me to choose the best chose my budget could get.Initially was looking to get a guitar from Argos but compared to what I maneged to get in the similar amount from 'The Music Box' seems far better and superior quality.Thanks you!

Gary is the best instrument repair specialist for Gibson Les Paul guitars, Fender, and string instruments. He managed to repair my Selmer saxophone when other technicians failed. He is honest, and reliable, and is able to provide quality service at an affordable price. Having experience with other instrument repair technicians, I can comfortably say Gary is the best instrument repair specialist in Oxfordshire. You can also visit his shop to buy a guitar in Oxford, he has a good selection of quality and affordable musical instruments. Thank you for helping me to have a working instrument. The owner, Gary, is very knowledgeable and a great luthier. This type of store is a dying breed, sadly. Wouldn’t spend my money anywhere else for quality used gear or repairs.
