My computer wouldn’t connect to the internet and with a child in secondary school this is a must in our household! Scott came the very same day as I had contacted which was just amazing and in no time he had it fixed and the kids were able to do their homework again. So very pleased with such a quick and professional service.

I live in Ely and had a very slow running desktop (where the processors etc. are integrated within the monitor). It was 3 years old and unsure if it was worth repairing or replacing. Scott visited my house offering a free diagnosis and his initial assessment was a faulty hard drive (by now it couldnt even see the operating system). He gave a best case and worst case scenario in terms of work and subsequent cost, without any commitment.In the end, he fixed it for a fraction of the cost of replacing it. He was very friendly, professional and responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to use again. The computer is performing better than it ever has.In the world of fake reviews I am happy to be contacted to confirm the authenticity.In the meantime Barbell Computing (i.e. Scott) is a highly trustworthy local computer repair business. Although only used the once, I highly recommend.

Great service and problem solved from Barbell Computing Ltd.Scott arrived promptly to have a look at my computers. He came back next day as agreed and fixed both machines that had been 'infected' within an hour.He further added some extra virus protection and gave some useful tips.I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any computer problems and sound advice.

Absolutely brilliant, fast and professional 5 star service, our 3 year old daughter forced our work laptop open and ripped the hinges out of the screen base, which I thought there's no way it could be repaired we called Scott who diagnosed and found a replacement part within an hour ordered it straight away, and repaired it the day the part arrived! At a very reasonable price, I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be using Barbell computing in the future.

Switched my laptop on, and all I had was a black screen. Contacted Scott, as advertised on fb. He was in the area, so he popped round to my house.Unfortunately, he said that he thought it was not repairable, and he advised me that it would be more expensive to repair than to get a new one. He said he would send me links & his recommendation as to which one would suit me. That evening, I received an email with 3 different laptops that could be purchased directly from the manufacturer at a cheaper price than going through a retailer.I bought one that he thought would be best for me. Scott transferred all my data from my old laptop to my new one and took the old hard drive out & gave the old unit & hard drive back to me, all within a week.Scott is very knowledgeable and doesn't try to fob you off with expensive replacements or get money from you trying to repair a broken unit. Highly recommend this very pleasant and nice bloke.
