More than OK, chicken shish ordered, generous portions, chicken very tender, plenty of salad and bread.Slight drawback...no Turkish tea, but plenty of soft drinks available. Price a bargain!

They have a banner outside saying the kebab with chicken and drink is 6£, when you walk inside they simply say the amount is wrong and is 8£, and if you decide to eat inside the facility it goes to 10£. Unbelievable, something I've never seen before.

Mixed feelings here. I wanted to like the food, but where some parts of it were OK, other parts were... not very nice at all. I ordered a chicken shish, chips and salad. The chicken was cooked on a coal grill and seemed to soak up a considerable amount of ash, whilst the accompanying salad was fresh and prepared very nicely. On the other hand, the accompanying bread was bone dry and crispy, but the chips were alright. It really was hit and miss. Very nice people running the shop, respectfull and courteous. Pricing was fair and the restaurant was clean. Would I go back? Probably not, as it was a visit in passing through town.

Probably the worst Turkish in the area.One staff member was rude. Got a very very dry mixed shish the guy cooked it on the grill after the charcoal.. this is very lazy.. and the chips weren’t even cooked properly still cold in the middle..

Lamb shish kebab was slightly spicy but okay. Roast bread and bulgur was served in addition but not salad. If I was told the salad cost extra,I would have paid.Overall, it seems Turks are welcomed more here, not all kebab shops are like that. My friendly banter was ignored. They concentrated on serving their own type.Was not offered salad with the meal, I would gladly have paid, most keebab shops give you salad as standard.

Really great local kebab. Food is excellent, staff are mostly very friendly and generous and ingredients always seem fresh and good quality. What more do you want from a Turkish takeaway? Plus they have a great painted mural on the wall outside featuring a surreal Dali-esque scene of a huge donner kebab on fire. 5 stars

Generous portion and efficient service. The even gave me two hazelnut croissants. It's your local Turkish place. I judge a Turkish place by the taste of their chilli sauce and I must say they got some well balanced sauce there. But I do think they could keep their place a little more tidy.
