Bratton White Horse Car Park
Well located for those who wish to get a closer look at the white horse. The pathway is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the horse itself, which is located on fairly steep ground. I believe it was created around 1661 and one of several created over many years. We were not aware of any wheelchair suitable path but well worth a look. The car park itself is very large and reasonably smooth to walk on. Does get a bit windy up there and can be chilly so have a warm jacket in the Car in case. On the way back there were several roads closed for resufacing so driving on stone chips could be difficult.

Bratton White Horse Car Park
My wife, younger daughter and I came here on September 18, 2019. Although I had seen the hill figure before, it was the first time I parked here and saw some real white horses. It was a very refreshing experience!

First time visit in years visit. Brilliant location fantastic views, car park potholes need addressing. Ice cream van doesn't sell doggie ice creams, otherwise would have been a 5 star

Bratton White Horse Car Park
Large car park close to a historical landmark and white horse. Car park is very uneven and slippery in places but plenty of room. There was a van selling coffee and an ice cream van but no other facilities. Sheep are grazing the fields which means they're covered in droppings. Horse is concrete rather than chalk but nice views out over Westbury and beyond.

Good FREE car park, a little rough, but not too bad (they must have filled the pot holes), really close to the white horse, but I wouldn't say it was the best place to see the white horse, and there's also a rope fence going right around it, definitely better at a distance, but the views are amazing.

There are far worse places to watch the sunset.... Beware the Glastonbury aroma that can overtake the carpark if the wind isn't blowing..... I was very relaxed for the duration of my visit.... Must go again soon
