Mold Post Office

When our bank closed we were assured that the Post Office would be happy to give us change. Both times my wife has tried this the grumpy woman has been reluctant and had an attitude. Not what we were expecting.

Massively overcharged on a small 2nd class package I recently sent. The clerk failed to confirm the price after weighing the 57g item and only after she had printed the ticket was asked to stump up a ridiculous £4.45 for an item that having since checked should have been £2.45 at the very most. When I asked to cancel the item was told it's too late" even though the cashier hadn't even bothered to advise me of the cost or double check that it qualified as a 'Large Letter' and not a 'Smal Parcel'. Given that Royal Mail are constantly on strike and I can send the same (or even larger/heavier) item for about £2.50 on Evri/Yodel with 48hr the sooner this relic of an organisation goes bust the better."

Would of been higher but since queue was all they 2ay to the door after all zig zag queue kind of sad only 1 person at tills even with a queue that long. So even though huge price hikes for mail not spending anything on staff maybe since they put so many in prison and ruined so many lives they just don't want to serve lots of people anymore

Extremely rude male cashierThe worst form of customer service I have experienced in my whole life.

Was not impressed with the service I received today. Given that there are signs, stating that you will not be served if you are on your phone, how is it then, that the cashiers are OK to make personal calls (on loud speaker) whist serving customers! Very rude!

Generally efficient when open.The time on a Saturday states 12.30 closing, Why is the office always closed at 12.10 on a Saturday? If the sign states the office is open to 12.30 it should be open to 12.30 if it is not change the sign.

Most friendly and helpful post office I have ever visited. Can’t praise them enough.
