I ordered a map from 1905 for my university dissertation research and choosing Alan Godfrey maps was such a good idea. The map was a good price and I was kept updated with information about my order. I've been using the wonderful Alan Godfrey OS maps for around 20 years, and have previously bought through bookshops or at family history society meetings. I ordered seven maps online yesterday, early afternoon, and they have just arrived this morning at 10:45am. Excellent service, and at such a reasonable price.

I cannot think of any other company supplying such an excellent service. The maps are not expensive and are delivered very quickly. I have a large collection. It is interesting to compare early maps with those of a later date - or a modern street map.Thank you Alan Godfrey

I have bought quite a few of their maps and never fail to be happy with them. They come with a lot of historical information attached and when they are worn out, they are cheap and easy to replace

Great experience from start to finish. The website is packed full of useful information on the various maps; which ones flank each other, which ones are in colour etc. I was easily able to find the maps I needed at very reasonable prices, and they arrived so quickly. Really impressed!
