Lovely full English breakfast with meaty sausages and back bacon. Service was a bit slow and the food a bit pricey (compared with the Riverside Cafe nearby for example). It wasn't until we got outside that we realised a 10% service charge had automatically been added to the bill. It's written in very small print on the receipt and I don't recall this being stated on the menu, so watch out! There is just one very small, cold ladies toilet outside at the end of the garden, so when it's raining you have to stand outside and get wet while waiting for the toilet to become available if there's someone in there (which is what happened to me!).

We came on a pretty busy Sunday in February and though we prebooked it still was a slight wait to actually be seated. The servers were nice though they were quite busy so took a little bit to order, get our food, and then to pay.The food itself was quite good and they had a few vegetarian options. There is also both indoor and outdoor seating available.

This place was amazing, very dog friendly I had a kids meal as I didn’t fancy anything big and the staff were happy to let me order from the kids menu which is appreciated and it didn’t disappoint! My dog was loved by the staff and locals and she seemed to enjoy it too. We will be back. My hubby order a burger meal which was juicy also. They didn’t have Stella larger so we ordered house beer and it was nice.

We were looking forward to our meal here, having been before for lunch and had good experiences. Having sat down at 7:00, had a drink, we were told that the kitchen was going to close early and we needed to order now if we wanted some food (7:30, Saturday evening). Took the decision to find somewhere else as we felt we were being rushed. Ended up going to the Sheep in Stow, which was excellent!Would have been nice to been told about the early closure prior to booking.Edit: Quite surprised by the tone of the response, an apology would have been the right way to start the reply. I would suggest that if your attitude towards customer service was better you may be busy on a Saturday night (like every other restaurant in town).

Visited the Croft for a breakfast. Breakfast was of high quality, the sausages were fantastic and clearly the work of a skilled butcher. Price was a little over what I’d normally pay but I think the overall quality of the ingredients justified this.

Had our breakfast here this morning on a visit to Bourton. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. We did reserve a table, but that's probably not necessary. Our breakfast was excellent, as was the service. My full English didn't seem particularly big at first on the medium-sized plate, but with the serving of toast, I was quite full by the end. My wife had scrambled eggs with salmon and was equally satisfied. Very pleased with the start to our day today.

Just popped in for tea & coffee. All very nice, staff were lovely but seemed a bit rushed off their feet, so service was a bit slow. Pleasant enough though & in a great location

Absolutely fantastic food and a lovely atmosphere in a fabulous location. The service was fairly prompt and courteous although the staff did seem rather frazzled and could have been a bit friendlier. One staff member committed my biggest pet peeve of presenting the bill and card machine to my husband even though it was me that had asked for the bill and had my wallet out. Perhaps just a mistake, but it happens so regularly I suspect unconscious sexism.
