Ordered a bulk bag of cotswold buff 20mm stones for project in our back garden. Great service in shop where we took away samples and then we phoned our order through, again very pleasant office staff and delivery chap.How disappointing then, that once we were a quarter to a third of the way down the bag to find more and more of what we think may be their goldpath? stones. At first we thought it was dust from all the dry hot weather that would wash off in rain, but we washed a few of them and they are a different stone. This has been corroborated by another retailer too.At first it was just the odd handful but as we emptied further and further it was clear that we did not have all of what we ordered and paid for. The balance went approx 70%other stone and 30% cotswold buff.We dont know if this was sloppiness(digging from adjacent piles) or done on purpose to fill out the bag as they didnt have enough stock of the cotswold buff but whichever it is, we are not happy.We have not contacted silverton as we dont have the energy to lift all the stones we emptied back into the bag and wait for a swap.As we have run out we have orderd another bag from elsewhere and will use Silvertons substandard product underneath the new load.We have other works to do in the garden and will be shopping elsewhere as clearly quality control is non existent. A pity as we tried to support a local non national business.The stars we have given are for the customer service prior to delivery.

Easy to order and delivery driver was excellent - in the middle of a heat wave he waited for 20 minutes in his non AC cab for the entry road to become unblocked and even dodged a huge field fire to ensure I received my delivery. I don't know the drivers name just that he was on his third shirt of the day because of the crazy temperatures. Thank you!Super service and thoroughly recommend!

Spot on company,they delivered early with no problems and driver followed our instructions to put on the tarp we had left he was smack bag in the middle,its nice to have a decent company,such ease.Thank you will use again definetly.

Easy to find, great couple of lads, large yard so no problems unloading both sides. Choice of exits, reverse turn round, or go out through tiper yard. Tipper yard easier.

Helpfully friendly staff, had just what I needed and even loaded it into the car for me without having to ask.
